          FWIW, my egift cards came directly from "Woolworths Gift Cards" with the email subject, "You've received a Woolworths eGift Card!"

          Nothing in the email identified that they were from Econnex. It wasn't until I viewed the details of the cards online that it stated that they were a gift from Econnex.

    Didn't track last time, when I called they blamed me for not following up asking for a tracking email straight away.

      • It didn't track. I called after 120 days and was told it wasn't in the system and it was my own fault for not knowing I was supposed to receive a tracking email along with the order email.

    They havent sent mine since last June / July. Beware fellows, its not worth it. This rep Manyo confirmed me few weeks back that I'll get it next day so far nothing and when I remind him, he doesn't respond.I have email and OZB dm to confirm.

    I recently switched off More Telecom due to constant dropouts and dcs. It has a weird issue at midnight on most nights where it cuts your internet for 1-2mins. I'm thinking it's to kick everyone off the internet to stop excessive use or something…

      Maybe setup another connection on a different NBN port with Launtel via the free 7 day trial and see if it still occurs.

    • Thank you!!! I thought it was a 'me issue' but glad to see I'm not alone, also get the drop outs at midnight and midday, and annoyingly have to login to the router and hit reconnect each time. Looks like I might need to churn over before the Commbank discount expires.

      Never had this issue with another NBN provider.

      • I thought it was my router or devices having minor dropouts but it's More. Took a while to realise but never again going back.

    You get what you pay for with More. I was with them for all of 2 hours.

    Switched because of the CBA offer from Aussie Broadband - went from 250/25 and was meant to have the same at More, but they screwed up and only gave me 100/20. The technical support… awful. Taking me through all the basic troubleshooting steps i'd already tried (rebooting everything, unplugging everything, only having one device connected), never once open to the possibility it may be their mistake. I had enough after 2 hours of being on the phone with them and bashing my head against a wall. Switched back to Aussie BB 15 minutes later (and this was on a Saturday).

    The customer service… rude. They couldn't cancel my account on the Saturday - it's a foreign call center. They only have staff in Melbourne during normal business hours M-F. Called back on Monday only to be met with the rudest of staff members - I just said I moved back to my original ISP over the weekend and would like my first month's payment refunded and credit card details removed from their site. "Fine". "We hold your credit card details". There was no way to remove them.

    I thought I was done with them… nope. They billed me 3 weeks later for the following month for a service i'm not even using. I ring back, and get another rude woman. No apologies for the mistake. "Just ignore it, it'll be taken care of… goodbye". Literally. She hung up on me!

    I wouldn't recommend them to anyone - pay the premium and stick with Aussie or Superloop. Hell, even TPG is a better ISP!

      The internet is trash tier. Can't get the 50/17 at off peak times, let alone on peak (typically it's 40ish/10). I rang and complained once and they did… nothing. Not a damn thing.
      They promised to call me back and never did. I provided many nights of evidence of the trash internet speeds and got told they'd look into it. But nothing ever happened.
      Cannot tell enough people that these guys are completely terrible.

    Haven't been with More telecom so can't comment on them as an ISP, but I've used econnex multiple times and received $500+ in cashback and gift cards. It's clear some people have had bad luck with them, but it definitely can work. Like all cashback disable any ad blocking and make sure you get tracking confirmation.

    • Hey nnaa8287, as per the terms and conditions, your broadband service must be activated by 30th April 2023 to be eligible for this offer.

      In simple words, you have sign-up before 24th March 2023, in order to be eligible for the gift card and you can choose the activation date of 1st April in the journey.

    • Hey dd943, as per the terms and conditions you have to stay with your current internet provider for 45 days in order to be eligible for the gift card, and as per checking your application you disconnected the services the very next day so, it makes you the ineligible for the gift card.

      Kindly send your old bill from 22nd Dec 2022 to 23rd Jan 2023 to [email protected], in order to check with the retailer, if there is any discrepancy in your file.

    • How long did it take to get the NBN connected after submitting the application to Econnex? I am planning the dates, and would appreciate such information.

  • I've just created Commbank account and debit card for only this deal and it said card delivery might take 7-10 days.. Can I still get the same deal paying with my friend's Commbank card and change the detail once I get my debit card?

      In simple words, you can signup for the NBN or mobile plan, as your last sign-up was for the energy plan or vertical.

      Hey renq, Depending upon the tech type you have, It generally takes 2-3 business days if you have opted for BYO option(bring your own modem).
      If you have opted for the modem then it takes 3-5 business days with More telecom.
