I think all their other ones were banned for sockpuppeting/trash service and dodgy billing cycles.

      • Yes I got lucky I looked on comments here, and never activated my service. (although they did still do credit check even without an active service).

Not at all associated but I'll vouch for Circles like I have previously: Been with them since the December they opened shop, on a now grandfathered $28/m Unlimited calls/100gb plan — Quick support and they've never double-billed or did anything dodgy with me besides send a Christmas gift basket without asking me if I liked red wine first…

Service is as good as any other Optus 4G reseller and you'll be lucky to get 1 bar of 3G out in the bush, but for anyone in the city I haven't found anyone as competitive yet.

    Use 30STUDENTEDGE

    30gb @$10 for 13 months

    50gb @$20 for 13 months.

    • Do we need evidence that we are student to use this code?

      • +1

        Nope

You can still get 50GB/month for $10/month for 6 months with the Doordash code: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/700403

    • Doesn't work for me.

      • This still works, $10 for 30gb a month for 13 months

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/752133

        • 30GB works.. he said 50!

          • @chilln2006: I tested it and doordash code still works.

You pick the 30gb plan and the code brings price down to $10 + extra 20gb.

      • Just signed up for it today myself. It'll say 30GB but if you look at the bonuses section it displays the +20GB and -$15 for 6 months.

        • My apologies.. he and you are correct! 🙌

  • Is this Prepaid, it's tagged as prepaid.

    • I've removed the tag, This is actually a post-paid plan, see Critical info summary for terms.

      • There is also a list of T&C specifically for this deal. It popped up after entering the code.

        EXPERT TELCOM EXCLUSIVE

        • Thanks, I'll insert that doc into the deal.

  • Are they still doing credit checks on signups.? If yes, its a pass for me..

    • +1

Yep signed up today and was a check, but shouldn't be a hard pull I'd reckon.

  • I was with these guys on a 20ish gb/$8 per month for over a year until porting to telstra to get a JB voucher. Have zero complaints, in fact the app was pretty good

  • Whilst the plans I had for my kids were great, especially as we got the first few months free. But for new numbers, I can't say I appreciated the crap messages and calls they were receiving. Or the extra o/s number message charges they were copping. (Not the first I'd heard of extras being charged.)

Nightmare to deal with. Would avoid

  • Ok guys, so far as I know Circle don't do credit check but they require your credit card details for payment (in the last step when you activate your sim) and it is compulsory.
Please use a valid email when activation as they will sent a OTP code to that email to verify.
When you start the service, for first month, your bill will be prorate (your plan/30 x how many days you use).
If you need to port out, remember Circle is postpaid and you need to know you account number (which you can find on your bill/invoice)
They will charge you the whole month when you port out, so better leave it until the last days of the month (29th 30th 31th) to do it, but please do it before 12PM of the last day of the calendar month, otherwise you have to pay for another month.
If you want to cancel or port out on 1st, 2nd or 3rd… for example, you still have to pay for whole month.
Please check Circle app to control your daily data allowance.

This is the from their FAQs and also check the comment on my post above, where one member confirmed the credit check still happening.

We run a credit check on all signups to ensure that our soon-to-be customers have the ability to make the upcoming payments for their Circles.Life plan. A failure can happen if your profile does not pass our partner vendor’s verification measures.

  • If I understand this .. it means that whatever your Australian balance is .. you can use overseas?
    https://www.circles.life/au/roaming-international-call-rates

If so .. that is pretty cool for my upcoming USA trip :D

Anyone got experience with doing this ?

  • I keep telling my partner to stop using Circles because messages would be missed. Such a pain.

    • What do you mean by messages missed?
