    used a physical Citibank card with pin and no issues over several days.
    Haven’t been keen to try payWave due to reported issues.

    Bought 5 today and 5 yesterday. Just tried to pay for some bills including councils and ATO and all declined. The vanilla website does not load either to check the balance. What’s going on???

      Yep. Can't do anything right now. After 3 mins of attempting the balance website, I refreshed my token session and got in and money is still there so wait to see tomorrow morning on what's up.

      same issue. Bought 10 of 100 today from 2 different stores. One set with expiry of 07/27 worked fine, but one's with 06/26 keep failing and the website isn't working either to check balance.

      However can still make payments without being logged in, so I'm not bothered.

    With this promo coming to an end, was certainly very interesting what I saw @ bondi junction Coles.. the store manager were processing a lot of $250 gift cards to some female customers over 50 years old who took them out of their purses. When I asked him where they got it from, he said he didn't know but if I had some, he would process them for me. He was processing these at a checkout that was closed towards the freezer isle. There were around 4 of them, all with bags of cards.. over 30 each.

        The lady who was buying at the time was paying with a card. Don't know about the others behind her. They also had a bunch of Coles Myer cards too, not sure if he was then processing vanilla to CM or CM buying vanilla or if its unrelated.
        Either way, found it interesting that some stores, the staff members do not care at all while others are worse than the soup nazi.

      I saw an old asian couple who had a ledger book with names of people , store numbers and a highlighter. They had teams of people buying cards. They were at the customer service desk using these cards to put onto opal cards. Then I suspect they call opal and ask for refunds lol

      It’s definitely happening at few stores. They have stack of 250s and a stack of flybuys or stack of flybuys loaded on their phone. To me it appears some staff have worked out a potential profit sharing deal. One of staff I spoke to was inquisitive about how people are making money out of this and was willing to offer as many cards as I wanted albeit $100’s. I politely said No.

      I was at bondi junction coles yesterday night and was told by the staff at the service desk that they stop selling gc because they sold a lot for the day. I really find that excuse really weird.

      saw this at the Eastgate Bondi earlier in the day although the scanning was done by a young lad who must have been wondering what he had done to deserve being sent to the end register just to process gift cards for very old non-English speakers. I doubt that any of those buyers would have understood if he had shown them the mandatory scam alert flyer. I also saw that as soon as someone had bought their cards, they went to the queue (of around 6 at that time) to do it all over again.

      Goodness knows what kind of money laundering was going on there.

      Nah. Went for a last round and try my luck at local store as i was not anywhere near the wealthy suburbs today and found a few $500 coles myer gift cards at home. So exchanged them for some $250s

    Does anyone know if the discount applied even if there are 3 flybuy cards linked to the one account? As in would each card have received the discount when used at time of purchase but all three cards are linked to one account?

      All cards under the same Flybuys account share the same limit.
