  Thanks Op. Just activated via steam and downloading now.

  Also states online retail for me after activating.

  EDIT - Have completed installation and tried playing. Cannot seem to edit the character, boat etc. Clicking on it simply prompts a blank screen displaying only the title. Anyone else experiencing this?

  EDIT 2 - Attempting to search for a game online and it says estimated search time is less than 10 seconds… yet I've already waited for more than 10 mins. Will be removing the positive vote if this game continues to be this buggy for a beta

    This is definitely for Beta only. Just checked their FB so you cannot play now. Only starts this Friday. Maybe should update the post

    Guns of Icarus Online Just to make it clear, our next beta event starts 8/3/12 at 12pm EST and will run to 8/5/12 11:59pm EST. More info to come once I finish writing this long blog post :P

  I'm pretty sure this is just like any old F2P MMORPG.

  This isn't really a deal at all in my opinion.

  Furthermore, it looks like you have to purchase additional DLC to do anything useful.

  Well, got it for free even though it's not released yet…

  Hope others do the same, but I can't figure out if it's a glitch or real…

    I haven't activated my key yet but people on other forums are saying when you activate it it says 'retail' in the product name and it doesn't say anything about 'beta' (like all other beta keys do) so it is quite possible that they had a mix up and distributed full game keys.

  ALL THE KEYS HAVE BEEN STOLEN. The app has been deactivated as we try to resolve the issue and get more beta keys from Steam.
