    Great deal! Thanks OP!!
Not sure whether to buy Steam or PS5 version.
    - Steam, can play on steam deck (assuming 720p or 1080p at 30fps) I hope or powerful PC so that you don't have the fps going below 60/120fps I think.
    - PS5, convenient, latest hardware, but reading some reviews the Ray Tracing and High Frame Rate is a hit and miss coz it dips. Anyone know if this has been fixed?
Any thoughts on which the OzB community would lean more towards. I've played both games in original PS era, but not these remakes and wouldn't mind revisiting the game. What's worse is I'm guessing most of the community have a backlog of 500+ games from steam and consoles like me, I feel like a digital and physical game hoarder hahaha

They patched the PS5 version after it got released with noticable improvements.

I recently replayed all of RE3 remake on PS5 with High Frame Rate mode and it ran flawlessly, no noticable dips or issues on my screen that supports VRR. Ray Tracing on the other hand feels like it runs sub 60 fps and felt awful to play on.
I tested RE2 on High Frame Rate and it also ran flawlessly but I didn't bother with Ray Tracing.

The PC version got updated to run on DirectX 12 which negatively affected the performance, but it can be reverted back to DX 11 in the steam settings. They make have patched to improve it but idk

RE2 remake is an amazing game. Best of any game in the series including 7 and 8 and I have played almost all of them.

They redid the entire engine and controls and graphics from the original so it's almost an entirely new game.

  • Damn it, bought RE2 by itself about 4 days ago on special, this is an even better deal

Same here…! Got us suckers early… then attract the bigger tightarses later!

  • Am I the only one who doesn't like the feel of the new Re4 in the chainsaw demo?

I found changing some settings helped a lot.
If you are on ps5/ps4 try these:

*Disable lens effects and chromatic aberration
      *Enable hold to run
      *enable trigger to parry
      *set O/B to quick turn
*Set look acceleration to max for camera movement and 50% for aiming
*set camera sensitivity to 100% for movement and 50% for aiming
      *turn off hair strands

Stolen from resetera/reddit, try it out. Helped me a lot.

      • Thanks. Big help.

  • I wish the Xbox store would follow the same approach as Steam and give a discount if own one of the games in the bundle. 😮‍💨

My first playthrough of Resident Evil 2 Remake has got to be the one of best single player gaming experiences I have had in the last 5 years.

  • Bought Xbox version at $12 from eneba. Need Turkish VPN to redeem the code though.
