Just missed a price beat with Barbeques Galore who dropped their price to $999. Regular price $1,399 at Bunnings or $1,499 at Babeques Galore.
This is a special order item.

Easily mate, go the Kamado.
Bought this early this year. No ragrets there.
Stack with Home Improvement DIY & Tradie card for extra 10% off
Nah, only 5% in ww reward value which is quite poor.
ah yes extra 5%, where else to get bunnings gc greater than 5%?
wanted the Classic 2 for the massive upgrade from Classic 1 But the discount for that is always woeful and Bunnings never carry them - monopolized only by BBQ Galore…
Kamado reminds me of Demon Slayer
Japanese cartoon?
Do most people who buy these also have a gas barbecue or is it normally one or the other? I see they have different features but there also seems to be a fair bit of overlap.
I have both and haven't used the gas in years.
How long do you spend lighting it? Is the cleaning and filling with charcoal much work?
Literally in a few minutes (I use Matador 2000W 600ºC Corded Charcoal Starter)….. not much with cleaning and filling the charcoal.
Got rid of the gas years ago. You end up just cooking on charcoal all the time as you get the routine down pat.
Only reason to keep the gas is if you're in an area that has fire bans often.
Filling with charcoal, cleaning etc. is very easy.
Is the classic big enough for a family of 4?
been looking at entry kamado's lately.
worth it over the akorn?
