I am considering a Oppo Find X5 Pro now it is due to be replaced by the X6 Pro. The Black Friday best specials were around $800 with a free tablet. These were running about $1,090 a week ago and are now around $1,390. I have never bought an Oppo before, what is a reasonable expected drop on the Find X5 Pro when the X6 Pro is released? Of course the Find X6 Pro may not come to Australia so they may keep the high price for a while. I assumed the reverting to $1,390 was so they could announce large clearance discounts, but really I have no idea of what is a fair target price.

In the past I've seen JB Hi-Fi drop prices on older model Oppo stock (~ 1/2 RRP price) to clear out items for new model release.
You'll need to keep an eye out though for timing. Excellent phone though, neen using one I bought for $600 ~6 months ago(2nd hand but little use as seller bought a Chinese car without Android Auto support shortly after buying the X5 Pro so switched to Apple)

Sub-$800, or just get a good deal on the new model. Shortly after release it dropped to $1199, a price which wasn't beaten for 5 months
