I'm currently 2 for 2 using the pyrolytic function on my Whirlpool oven and the inner glass shattering all over my kitchen!
Both repair people who have come to replace it said they replace multiple inner glass pieces a day from all the major brands including Smeg & Bosch.
Let's say it didn't make cleaning the oven any easier.
But your glass is like new, no cleaning needed…
It's mainly pulling the fridge out and vacuuming all the tiny glass shards out from every crevasse in the tiles so my son doesn't get cut which is the issue. Plus the 4 attempts and threats of consumer affairs demand letters it took to get them to replace the glass 2 months out of warranty.
