Can confirm this bag is awesome. Only downside is that the straps are wayyyyy short - perfect for primary school kids. Lol. or maybe cos I'm big-boned. So I had to buy extenders…

Haha, I'm a shorter guy, so hopefully the straps are long enough for me.

    • Agreed. Wearing on both shoulders feels tight, wearing on one shoulder feels offer center.
That and hooking the straps to the bag is a pain.

    • Where did you get extenders from? I need some too….

  • Would it feel uncomfortable carrying this in a hot warm day? The material used on the back of bag and straps feel like it's going to be very sweaty…

      Not sure about this.
Judging from reviews, nobody has expressed it as being uncomfortable on a hot day. So hopefully that means it will be fine.

  • Probably just check the size as 14L isn’t massive.they have other bags on clearance at https://bellroy.com/products/category/outlet

    • Yeah, agreed. They also have the larger 20L tote, not on sale at the moment, but one to look out for if people need extra space.

I have the 20L version. This is probably an unpopular opinion but this bag is form over function. After putting in my laptop, it cannot fit anything more than a small grocery item or a small lunch box.

    • Yeah, it wasn't made to expand with bulkier items.

Yup agreed, also have the 20L version. Excellent office bag for laptop + headphones and some chargers/cables. Nice looking bag, but just not really usable as a standalone weekend getaway bag - which its not designed for anyway, so just a heads up for anyone thinking of copping and wanting to use for multiple purposes.

    • For those interested in a do-anything bag, get the Transit. Along with shoe bags and a packing cube, can easily fit a laptop and changes of clothes + shoes for the gym, and can be downsized to an iPad and more clothes for a weekend trip. Also works as carry-on for your overseas trips. On the small end if it's your only luggage, but combined with a bumbag it's plenty big enough for trips that don't require heavy jackets.

  • hmmm to cop or not

    • How are you finding the venture sling?

      • +1

The size is perfect for me and has great build quality. It is lighter than I thought. The zipper can take some time getting used to.

  • It's available at The Iconic for same price, but also with Cashrewards cashback, so comes out cheaper.

  • Also at Amazon for same price (3 left)

Bought the 20L last year and been using it for work.

Pros: good quality, nice front pockets, sturdy - holds work laptop well.

Cons: straps tad bit short but you do get use to it (I am 182cm). Not a deal breaker but the inside pocket within the bag is a mesh and requires two hands to unzip. Wouldve preferred non mesh pocket so I could open things within my bag using one hand.

Haven't experienced any hot uncomfort wearing this bag.

This bag works for me. I didnt want anything too bulky for work. I usually carry my lunch in separate cooler bag to which I collapse and store it in the bag at the end of the day.

As for travelling, backpacking or carry on, this bag is a tad too small IMO.
