Cant believe the general price difference between the HS and non HS version. All they use is a 1$ worth of metal and thermal sticker.

    • Do i need a heatsink?

it could reach 101ºC without the heatsink and start throttling. Not sure about daily use, probably fine with casual read and write.

        • interesting, thanks for the link wind

        • Had a read through but I could not find an answer, was the no heatsink test like uncovered?
As in my mobo comes with covers with thermal pads on the m.2 slots so i don't need a heatsink.
I assume they no heatsink test was naked

  • very tempting, anyone have any issue's with this on PS5?

No issue but you would need a heatsink for it

yep figured with the heatsink :) … thanks for the feedback

  • i want to get a case for my ssd, any recommendations?

Good deal but the Google reviews are a bit scary.

    • you mean all 55 of them for a product that's probably sold 100's of thousands? lol not sure if that's a good indicator … but thanks for the heads up :)

      • Yeah hopefully nothing to worry about, but since I've been burnt by m.2 SSDs before I tend to err on the side of caution. If you're buying one let us know how it goes, especially after it reaches 50% full. Sometimes even just sustained writes for a certain amount of time will kill them.
