On a side note, the boxart is different for different regions this year. The majority are Red Bull, however, some European countries like Italy and Spain have the Ferrari, with Britain getting the McLaren.

Bought 2010 a while back, then bought 2011 because JB had it marked wrong ($34 when it was still relatively new). Haven't kept up with 2012 at all, does it look like it's going to be a decent improvement, or just another yearly release?

Pretty much a 'yearly release' from what I've read, however it will include the new race at Austin Texas. I think worth it for $50.00.
