[NSW] Natuzzi Group Leather 2-Piece Sectional Sofa $2499.99 (Was $3299.99) @ Costco, Auburn (Membership Required)

190

Writing this post while lying down on mine.

Quite comfy and good looking 2 seater with chase.

Spoke with Natuzzi editions store manager and he was saying even at original price of $3300 it is very cheap and was telling me the top leather is of good quality (he said the grade too but I am no expert and can't remember). It has good quality matching splits on sides and back.

So if you need one I think it is a good buy at $2499.99.

It may be state or nation wide. Pretty sure it's the same price at Marsden Park too.

Online link for spec.

Edit: Just noticed the total width on the website is not accurate. Website says 2290 mm but it is around 2700 mm. Measurements on the box is correct.

Edit 2: it is also on sale on their website for $2999.99 delivered

  • For those wondering, the colour in the photo is pretty close. This is a very neutral grey, if that's your thing.

    Gonna sit on it.

How do ppl get these home? Is there any delivery option?

    • +1

Yes, it is at extra cost depending on location, lift etc. For me was $130 for the delivery

    • Costco online prices are inclusive of delivery afaik

  • Hmm, I hope they live up to their name and quality considering it's Made in China. Definitely not a higher end Natuzzi sofa.

    • When did they start making them in China? Mine was made in Italy and took more than 6 months to make and deliver.

      • The higher end sofas are still made in Italy. The ones made in China are for the bigger stores, such as Costco

  • We considered this before buying from Adriatic. Few things put us off but the major one is the very large seat panels of leather without stitching, which on softer leather is prone to puddling. Will begin to age very quickly.

Isn’t it normal for more expensive leather couches? Better than the cowhides cut into smaller pieces due to imperfections and stitched together?

    • Exactly what wtfnodeal said. This one actually has stitching on the chase in the middle. The other Italian one that I have has no stitching even on the chase, 6 years old and looks like how it looked one month after we bought it

    • The bigger the piece of leather the better the quality. I remember paying extra for a big piece when I order the sofa rather than small pieces stitched together.

I wish they would stop making sofa's like this where the leather is just a thin layer on top. Once these guys flake, they keep flaking, and it just looks utter shit. I also hate how they just call it leather sofa, should be made to call it layered leather sofa.

I think there is a standard thickness for cowhide? Unless you are talking pleather?

    • I had leader sofa (genuine leather) for the last 30 years and never had any issue and have never seen them flaking, I actually won't buy anything none leather. Easy to clean looks good and also if a good brand with good foam no sagging

  • Just went to the store and they stated it's $3299 (more than the website) and stated they cannot see when it was reduced (just stating what they said). They priced checked it and no deal sadly. That's the first and last time I ever go there. Thanks for posting OP

Edit: spoke to Marsden Park and it was $3299 also

    • Apologies for the inconvenience, I was there yesterday and took the photo then so definitely was on sale yesterday. Tried zooming in to see when it was ending couldn't see the exact date.

  • This is still on sale in Perth, can this be split into two parts? One for the long foot rest one and one as a smaller couch? Or does it only work as one piece?

    • It's two piece ,
