I ordered on eBay before they first sold out. Wasn't any mention of short date anywhere on the listing. Better not be the case…. Pretty misleading if so. I don't plan to drink the bottle within a month.

Agreed. Only ever seen 1 bottle go bad, clots & lumps (Erin cream, I think it was called), because it was poorly cared for, and probably a decade old.
