Found today in Dan murphy's: very drinkable Monteith's Sparkling Ale reduced to clear at $1.90. From memory this was about $5 per bottle the last time I bought it. Not outrageously flavoursome like their epic Monteith's Black but very drinkable, very smooth and a worthy beer purchase for a sunny afternoon in the garden.

I cleaned out my local Dan Murphy's but I'm sure yours has more. Also showing at this price on the website if you want to try ordering online.

Spoke to the girl at the checkout and she said they were stopping selling the line, hence the price. Also note bottles are dated best before July 2012 (like an extra month will matter..)

It's made by kiwis obviously so there is a downside :-)

    I can confirm that the Balga store in WA is out of stock. So is the Morley store, which I just cleaned out by taking the last 24 bottles. Apparently some OzBargain'er took 4 cartons earlier.
