  • It's max load is it's net weight, something ain't right

    • Net weight is how much the table weighs

      • -3

It's max load is also how much the table weighs

        • +1

          ie: Max Gross 30kg
Max load doesn't include the weight of the desk

    • +1

What's not right? Max load for 2 trays in description

  • Thanks, been waiting for this to go back on sale.

So this a desk for your desk?

    • +11

      Deskception

    • +3

Yo dawg. I hear you like your desk. So i put a desk on top of your desk.

  • the ESD2 model is about $162 but motorised, hrmm…

Not sure if worth the excess for the upgraded.

    • +3

For something this small and light, I reckon motorised is unnecessary.

Just means having to plug it in and deal with yet another cable.

  • So I can't sit in front of these?

  • Is it good?

    • +2

I have been using one of these for about 2 years and really like it. I would quite like one of the larger ones but this is good enough for me.

      • If you would be so kind could you share some measurements with me? The site doesn't show the measurements of the cutouts, that is the rounded cutout on the top and bottom desks, and the cutouts on the side on the lower desk (which means the actual space for my mousepad is less than it seems). It might be difficult to measure the rounded cuts so an approximation is fine, I'm mainly concerned about my mousepad width space.
Unfortunately the larger size only makes the top desk larger and everything else stays the same, and I think this might just be a little too small for me :(

        • +1

The keyboard tray has about 65cm of width to fit a keyboard and mouse pad, not including the bits that protrude outwards.
The whole thing is approximately 83cm wide, so the cut outs are each about 9cm wide. Hope that makes sense

          • @Toffees: Didn't see this earlier, thanks!
So it does seem it is just a little too small, if I had a TKL kb it'd be just enough, unfortunate

I recently bought the other brand of this exact desk riser. Very useful if you already have a desk and don't want to replace the whole thing for a sit/stand desk, as this just sits on top but still allows you to raise and lower the height of your screens.

I paid about $120 for mine, so this deal is great.

  • +1

Looks similar to the ones Officeworks sell for $249, not the exact same but that's an awesome alternative and saving.

    • Also very similar to the Kmart ones as well which I have seen in sale for about $100

  • +1

If you already have a standard desk and don't have plan to buy a height-adjustable desk, this is the best thing! I haven't used one from this brand, but this product works as good as an adjustable desk at a much lower price.

  • +3

I have the exact same one from Officeworks.

    • Only good if you strictly use the keyboard and mouse, as the whole unit takes up a lot of space. With its fixed depth, you'll also lose a lot of table space if it's larger than the unit.
    • The gas-powered lever is only used to lock the position in, not for raising/lowering. With the weight of 2 monitors on some wood, some may struggle to lift it.
    • Oil (or something like that) will leak under the gas cylinder, but is covered by the top of the unit.
  • +2

I also have same model in different brand, it's quite good for health and easy to up/down, but it's actually not enough for two 27" monitor, later I bought a height-adjustable desk.

Considering to sell it in very cheap price

Remember to check Marketplace, etc, for free, or lower price. first. I got a Varidesk for free in great condition.

  • Looks abit like an ironing board

  • This isbt a standing desk, it's like a monitor stand for a desk or a standing desk to put on a desk..I'm sure there is another name for it

    • It's called a standing desk converter on the site page
