          @hamwhisperer: Gone are good old days where you can trade $0 phone and still get trade in bonus.

          Ultimate gift cards > JB / GG / HN probably your best bet, but usually those stores discounts if you sign up on plan as well

  Just bought s23u 256g for $1084 (out of pocket) from the normal channel,
  1949 - 365 (s21u trade-in) - 500 (bonus) = 1084

  You also got $250 credit to spend on accessories such as galaxy buds/cases..,
  and cashback of ($49.27, just confirmed)

  so total upgrade cost: 1084 - 250 - 49 ~= 785

    can you do a trade in in person instead? would prefer to trade in with the new phone then wipe my old s21U. or this can be only done online?

      It should be able to, but since the trade-in amount has been debited from my bank account, they will provide a postage-paid label for you to send back the old phone for assessment. Will figure it out if you can just return the phone to any Samsung shop nearby alternatively once I receive the new phone,
