Is this based off Dune: Imperium or is it a completely different game?

Truly awesome board game if you can get 6 people together who are willing to spend 2 hours or so learning the rules before playing a game that can last anywhere from half an hour to all day. I suspect the reason this is on special and the non-film artwork one isn't is because of the film art being less appealing to people.

I can't remember another time I made 5 of my friends as angry as this in such a short time. At least a couple wouldn't talk to me for days after playing this.
I hope the cleaned up rules maintain the superb betrayal mechanics.
