Looks like a rebranded item. https://www.amazon.com/VLOXO-Accessories-Polishing-Engraving….
It appears to be $50 usd so this is probably its regular price with the coupon being a trick to make people buy it.

IV learnt my lesson with rotary tools, bought about 4 different no name or cheaper ones over the duration of 10 years, all died in one way or another.

Then I bought 1 dremmel and it's at 5 years and going like it's still brand new.

IMO these rotary tools are a prime example of "poor man pays twice" or in my case, 4 times.

      poor man pays twice

This is so true with tools. If you need them to cut/drill/etc once, they are fine. If you need to keep using them, it is never a good idea to buy a cheapo

      • Eyes the $20 historic deals

Accessories still decent by the comments

Break even as long as the Dremel holds out for a decade vs cheap spare rotary tools?

Awaits the comment of thanks OP bought seven.

Wow they come with pretty grooming attachment now
        What a visual

I suppose many tools come down to a motor in some form + accessories

With how my dremel's currerntly going, i have full faith it will last the 10 years. i think the only thing that MIGHT die closer to then is the battery, i havent experienced any noticable battery degredation yet, but i kind of just expect batteries to not last that long. Regardless though can always buy replacement batteries, or if you know what you're doing just make another with salvaged 18650's, but thats not an option for everyone.

        • You also have to factor in the hassle when you need to do a job, get everything out and set up, and the tool doesn't work.

    • i was about the same , but decided to go with Ryobi battery one , how good it is . doing some stuffs in work shop and cordless is great for this craft tool

i did look the dremel one as well , but the longer running in Ryobi makes me go with it

      • yeah i didn't try the ryobi one. I tried the ozito, & 3 other ones that i can't remember the name of

True. Add more to get a decent one.
Dremel 200 is $79 at Bunnings (corded)
Ryobi skin only is $99 at Bunnings

The first thing that will fail for unknown brand is usually the battery

  • this would be about on part with the $39 ozito skin at bunnings, that goes down to ~25 on special from memory. the Dremel lite is only another ~40 on amazon, if you wanted cordless i'd go with that, or if you don't want to spend more, go with the ozito one from bunnings so you can easily return it in person when it dies early.

  • Probably compatible with the various Toolpro and Aldi 12v tools that use the same battery mount
