Exynos nah
Why not?
Wow, so they have switched over to Snapdragon?
It's bloody horrid, just upgraded from s21 to s23 and its night and day.
Got down vote by some idiots who actually never used both exynos and snapdragon to see the difference nice!
Are you sure it has Exynos? My S20FE 5G has snapdragon
This model has Exynos 2100
Earlier S20 FE’s had an Exynos chip and were significantly inferior (slower, overheating, battery drain etc are not uncommon sadly)
S21 FE $600 or A73 $500?
No expandable storage on FE.
Seriously? How is a flagship model less feature rich than a mid range phone.
They used to have 3.5mm on all A series too. The assumption made by samsung and others being that flagship users are willing to shell out for BT headphones, higher built in storage, etc.
Its not flagship duh
FE is not flagship
S20 FE has expandable storage, not sure why they changed it.
Screen is also too small IMO. I feel like I'm slumming it back here with a 6.7 inch screen. Bring back the Huawei Mate 20 X with updated chips.
A73 $500? Link? All I see are $650-$700.
If you don't mind no wireless charging, no zoom camera A73 is good and the camera seems a bit slow.
Worse battery life as well

Look at past deals. These should be sub-$500 soon enough, especially with price drops on S22
Ridiculous to pay this much so long after release. Better off with Pixel 7
Buit this has much better software. Pretty hard to beat Samsung customization and looks.
No way. Pixel features are awesome. Don't even have to wait on hold any more, phone does it for me. $850 for Pixel 7 Pro, worth every penny. This is also coming from someone who's tried every custom ROM available. Eventually you want stability and rock solid features. People I know that have Samsung get pissed off
@reloxation: I find it funny you say stability and pixel in the same sentence… I use both a pixel and a samsung daily as work and personal phone.
Originally had the pixel. Have to say, love the features the pixel has, but the samsung is way more reliable. Pixel is buggy af
@Boioioioi: Haven't had a single bug with the Pixel 7 Pro. I heard some horror stories on the previous ones, but they seem to have it under control now
@reloxation: Where pixel 7 pro for $850? On the market to buy one…
@Fredbass: 10% off gift card combined with staff pricing. Can get for $933 if no staff pricing
@reloxation: Where to find it for $850? All I can find is 1k ish.
@alien07: He cant get it for $850, he was lying to make his "point" more appealing
@MEGASERVE: Don't like being called a liar, so want me to send you a pic of the receipt? I got it for $850, never said anyone else could…
@reloxation: Yes please, dm me the receipt
@reloxation: So the major feature you enjoy is… no more call waiting? lol
Pixels are overrated and overhyped.@nikoris: Just one example man, don't pick it apart too much. Can give you a few others if you want?
@reloxation: You also said custom roms. Who said custom roms? Samsung has great customization with good lock and ONE ui already looks so much better than pixel OS in my eyes.
@nikoris: Nah I meant custom ROMs on other phones. I run stock on Pixel. One UI not my style, hate having duplicate apps too (I know you can remove, but ridiculous that's the default)
@reloxation: You keep giving me pointless examples, who cares about duplicate apps if you can easily uninstall them? You try to make a big deal out of nothing
@nikoris: Yeah, it's annoying. Not a complete deal breaker though. You can largely return the phone to close to stock Android, though not quite as nice.
I uninstalled what I could and disabled anything else. There are still a few things which can't be hidden easily and annoyances - eg Samsung calendar.
I swapped to Nova launcher(caveat about current ownership) and hid a few apps. I installed the Google phone and message app.
Largely happy with the Samsung phone (S20FE), though probably would have preferred a Pixel.
@nikoris: The end user. Not everyone knows how to uninstall the duplicates (properly) with ADB or has the time to do so. All my mates still have two phone apps, it's laughable. Cameras are significantly better on the Pixel too (compared to what I've seen from an S20+ and S21FE). I could keep going on, but I guess we all have personal preferences, and I'd take Pixel over Sammy any day.
it's laughable
Not really. It's an over-exaggerated issue that affects no one irl
but I guess we all have personal preferences
There's a reason pixels aint selling, they're not up there on Samsung level.
Cameras are significantly better on the Pixel too
Yeah nah.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj0FOwnVKHE@nikoris: Affects everyone. Might not annoy everyone, but it does affect them.
For example, when saving or editing photos on the Samsung Gallery app it prompts for permission to overwrite photos.
From what I've heard, the Pixel 7 has been Google's bestselling phone to date. Samsung sales have been slumping… Can I get your source?
Regarding cameras, reviews are one thing, but I'd take the colours on my Pixel 7 over Samsung any day. As I said, I was doing real life comparisons to other phones I have…
Also, your first video is a comparison to the Pixel 6, and your 2nd video is an opinion from a dude with 19k subs…
For example, when saving or editing photos on the Samsung Gallery app it prompts for permission to overwrite photos.
Whats the problem here?
From what I've heard, the Pixel 7 has been Google's bestselling phone to date. Samsung sales have been slumping… Can I get your source?
I mean, how many phones does google sell and how many does Samsung? Numbers are pretty obvious, to the objective viewers.
Also, your first video is a comparison to the Pixel 6, and your 2nd video is an opinion from a dude with 19k subs…
And in both videos you see how good s21fe camera is.
@reloxation: Does pixel 7 pro has dual Sim? Looking for dual sim
Might be worth waiting for the S23 FE in September? Hopefully it's a resounding success like the S20 FE 5G was by using either the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Gen 2.
They didn’t release S22 FE, perhaps it was cut off along with Note?
There are recent leaks. The chip shortage was quoted as killing the S22 FE (and the S21 FE was a bit of a flop).
S20fe is one of the best things inever bought. Its camera wven held its own against the ultra when shooting photos, though when shooting videos, the ultra blew it out od the water.
Battery life, screen, reliability, durability etc all great. Apart from a better camera specfically for shooting videos, i don't even need an upgrade.
I have been using it for 8 months and the battery is average. 4-5hr SoT with 120Mhz or 3-4hr with 5G enabled. Phone lags when i have multiple apps in use.
No esim
Buy the 8gb. My 6gb can barely run maps.
Surely that's an exaggeration. Maps runs fine on my S20FE.
I would lean toward a 8GB version as I've noticed some Chrome tabs are reloaded on occasion.
Freezing and stuttering when navigating. Particularly when it's charging. The phone becomes very unresponsive when using maps and Spotify. I often have to force quit maps because it won't accept touch input. It runs quite hot too, which I think might also be the problem.
I don't understand why people neg others warning them about a product. My girlfriend has the same problem with her s21 fe. The phone is good value for money though.
Are these grey imports…..?
No.
s21 fe is a flop. had it, got rid of it. compared to S21 it's super slow, I don't know what they did to it
Yeah I had one and took it back for a pixel 6a. Way happier.
6a is a super good phone. that was my move as well. amazing camera
however I ended up trading 6a in for S22 Ultra, which was at its lowest around xmas. snappy phone, not as big as I feared, fits every pocket, love the s-pen
Battery is so crap in this
This vs pixel 6a?
6a any day
I just upgraded from the S21 Ultra to S23 Ultra. The S21 was and continues to be a great phone despite being two models behind now. Not sure I would pay this much, you can get refurbished cheaper on eBay most likely which would be just as good.
639 at Bing Lee, price match at Officeworks for 607.
