seems like a really good deal for RTX 3060 unfortunately i have 2 of the HPZ640s so cant justify this.
Intel® Core™ i5 processor 11400F 6-Core 12 Threads Processor
GeForce RTX 3060 8G Video Card
16GB 3200MHz + 480GB SSD
2 Years Warranty

On their pic it also has a Ryzen 3000 series logo, so they might need to do some updating…
I'm really amazed at the great prices for PC systems in just this past week.
oh god after all the crazy bpc vs techfast deals past week I finally pulled the trigger on this one. Don't think it'll get better than this.
so did you cop?
Yea, bargain justified
If this was AMD CPU I’d finally buy a gaming PC, crazy I was considering a 3070 build for $1800 12-18months ago.. PS5 has been great in the meantime though.
Take a look at this: https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/sv-es3060-01-siren-vortex…
what's wrong with i5?
Will this be sufficient for 144 fps gaming with a 1440p or 1080p setup on games like Valorant or League?
Also, how does the RTX 3060 8gb run vs the RX 6600 in the same build?
Yeah more than enough
rtx 3060 8gb is slightly weaker than the 6600, but both are good for fps games and don't expect too much ray tracing performance from the 3060 8gb
can play elden ring 1440p 60fps?
100%. Elden Ring isn't the most demanding game out there anw.
Is the RTX 3060 8gb worth the extra $40 on the previous RTX 2060 12gb deal, which was virtually the same build?
Yes
No lol, RTX 2060 12GB is around the same (better at 4K, worse at 1080p) as RX 6600, while RTX 3060 8GB is never faster than a RX 6600 (sometimes even 10-15 frames slower)
Thanks for the insightful response.
Damn the price is amazing, sellers on eBay are selling 3060 for 5-600. Even used are like 4-500bucks.
More powerful 12GB version for almost all of those though; RTX 3060 8GB vs 12GB is unfortunately different in more than just their VRAM.
Does this come with windows 11 as it shows in the image?
It shows windows 10 home for $159 in upgrades.
You can request installation of the image, but you'll need to buy the key for it to work.
Not worth worrying about a windows licence these days.
Not only do windows 10 and 11 let you do basically everything without a key, you can buy a legit one online for less than 15 bucks.
Yeah, it's definitely something you just add after you've bought it, for a few dollars, not something to stress about when buying.

Does anyone know why this intel deal is priced cheaper than the 5500 deal here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/758343, when the 11400 typically performs better in gaming? Is the motherboard better in the 5500 deal?
They're competing with TechFast for best budget gaming PC deal, that deal was the previous cannon fire.
That being said, Intel is more price competitive in this market segment since AMD took so much marketshare and increased prices.
In addition to other comment, the motherboard in this system is almost as cheap as it gets, whereas the other deal uses a slightly nicer (but still no frills) motherboard. So that's ~$20 difference that doesn't show up in the CPU/GPU spec.
I already put an order in for Techfast built. Which company deliver faster and has better parts? Anyone bought from both that can give me some advice? Thanks
BPC better parts, faster shipping
Cancel order with TechFast
Thanks.
I received an email from Fastech after 2 days. They said they can't cancel the order and if I want to proceed they will only return 75% of the total paid.
I guess I'm going to get both computers now. Let's see which one get delivered first and which system has a better quality built..

That is BS. This is why people should not deal with TechFast. Read their cancellation policy and get back to me

Why get two PC’s? No doubt BPC Tech has better quality as you can see in the specifications
@MuddyClear: I don't want to receive 75% of what I paid for. I'll put it on the market place and hopefully get my money back. . We're in Ozbargain and I am supposed to save money buying through here. I don't agree with their policies but It's all good.
THis is why my comment in the BPC deal should not be negged. It's clear BPC are offering better service and faster shipping times than Techfast.
Yes would be good for 1080p high gaming
Best to get a deal on ax 6 card and case should be a good start. Balanced specs
No you shouldn't select wifi if you want to use wifi /s
Does this have a nvme slot? Would I be able to take out my ssd from my laptop and put it into this?
if you check "SSD Upgrade Option" on their product page, you'll see 3 nvme drives.
So the implication is that it does - best to contact them to be certain though.
As to "Would I be able to take out my ssd from my laptop and put it into this", of course you can.
If you then want that PC to boot into Windows (or whatever OS you have on your laptop), I wouldn't bet on it though.
It has one M.2 slot according to the motherboard site
@Godgodgod that z640 is one solid build
Put a 2696 v3 CPU. It's super.
It is a solid build. Question, why a v3? I'm looking at a v4 chip but prices are a lot more.
Correct was too expensive
2690 v4 is a sweet spot price performance and can be had for $130 locally
I have one with 1650 v3 for gaming and other with 2690 14c v4 for serving needs
How much without the case? And shipping to 2914?
How well will it run MS flight simulator?
How is this price possible for a whole system - isn't the card itself worth at least 450?
It's the shitter 8gb 3060. It performs worse than the $300 rx 6600. Still a good price for the whole system
Retailers are doing in tough. This is a cost recovery exercise to get cash flow. There's no profit in this.
On these systems, is there an option to get the parts delivered so I can install them myself? I couldn’t see an option for that.
Quick question guys since I haven't bought a new computer for a decade now!
Is the chassis some sort of sealed b/c of warranty? Or I can open it and add e.g. a RAM module without tampering the warranty?
Too late sold out
Have any of these actually been delivered yet?
After ordering on 22/02/23 I had one parts reserved email on 10/03/23, but nothing since,
BPC's communication has been underwhelming, to say the least.
I had mine delivered last week (with the 2060 12GB). A few issues:
Missing the rear fan completely
RGB panel that lights up front of case was dislodged and caught in one of the fans (which I discovered when first booting up the computer)
Windows was not pre-installed, even though the listing stated it would be
I requested the PC was sent with the GPU uninstalled. They charged me an extra $30 shipping fee, only to ship the GPU in its box inside the PC case, which would have added $0 extra for shipping
There is no way my build was QC checked
BPC ignored, or didn’t get to, my first couple of emails outlining my issues. They have offered a return shipping label and said they will do a “rebuild”, but I’m just going to sort the issues out myself as I don’t want to go another month without a PC
Hey man, how much did you pay for shipping without the $30 extra for the GPU in the box? I am a bit worried now since how you received your PC and all the negative comments on their newer built post. Mine is still stuck in Adelaide for 2 days already. I'm hoping my PC is not defected like yours.
@Godgodgod any chance of bringing this deal back mate?
In the product title it says RTX 3060 and on the specifications page it says RTX 2060. Please fix @BPC Technology.
