Your remarks are inconsistent. Initially you were outraged due to perceived excessive shipping cost. When challenged, you changed your focus from shipping cost to customer service. Make up your mind already!
You guys sound like you're new to ShoppingSquare which means you haven't been on OzB long.
$38.95 is their standard shipping price for electronics. Don't be surprised by it.
Also, it's the total price that matters, not how they break down item price and shipping cost. Whether they shifted some of that shipping charge into an increased product price is just psychological differences.
It might sound outrageous if you were paying $200 shipping but you'd be paying only $397 for the phone and in the end it's the same.
But it is shopping Square….$38.95 is about 50c/day from payment to delivery.

When SS advertised the S2 really cheap, it took around a month to get it. I actually cancelled my order after 4 weeks, but was already dispatched then.
The company did not treat the customers well, with every one making an inquiry getting a different answer (if they got an answer).

The slow shipping only happens with cheap shipping products or free shipping. When you're paying $39, it's sent by courier and with tracking no. It only takes a few days.

Not aus stock, no GST…price is ok but not much better than the other aus stock bargain for 32G yesterday (598 deliveried)…
Which aus stock deal was that? The only deal I am aware was for stock shipped directly from overseas. how so? The t&cs for the earlier deal I am aware of stated:

And the other giveaway, as has been stated MANY times, AUS stock comes with 2 year warranty, imported (usually) only have 1 year.
If the warranty is stated as 1 year, it is an import.
