do they actually support fast charging speeds though?
The first link i saw is a 13.5cm C to C cable that says 5A delivery up to 100W. You can search around Aliexpress. There are tons of these sort of cables.
If it is 1/10 as long, it only needs 1/10 the conductor area for the same resistance. So probably.
I bought the Baseus 0.5m from Shopping Square, but you can get them on Aliexpress. It supports fast charging and I find Baseus on the better end in terms of quality

How fast? If you pick aliexpress "fast shipping", which is free if you spend over $8, it got to me under 2.5 weeks. Faster than buying things over East for me lol
I'm pretty sure "available locally" means he needs it urgently, not in 2 and a half weeks.

It's an excellent cable, but very rigid. One of the shortest I could find that supported fast charging and data transfer.
Aliexpress. Google USB C to USB C Cable Short and the first link will show something similar to the Amazon one for about $4 delivered to Aus.
