Yeah and another says the pole's don't fit properly (basically makes the fan useless as it won't have a stand).
Same review says so many complaints about this fault it needs to stop being sold until they fix it.

Note there are two versions of the Click 40cm White Pedestal Fan, a $17 (https://www.bunnings.com.au/click-40cm-pedestal-fan_p0273534) and a cheaper one around $13, this is the cheaper version.
The $17 is ok for the price (I have one) the cheaper one is built even worse and has very bad reviews even considering the price, still at $9…
But this is the $17 one. The price dropped to $9. I don't know about the quality, as I don't own one.

They have different grills and controls on the column.

$9 is about the right price…
Yeah with a cheap thin brittle plastic base which is not resistant to shock you would expect it to be cheap in price.
But you only have to worry about that if you can get the poles to fit properly, if they don't you are just back at square one which is taking it back for a refund.
I literally put one of these together yesterday (for someone who paid $20 for it at Mitre 10). Would never buy one for myself. The feet it stands on are hollowed out and bendy, and will 100% scratch a wooden floor. No remote, no timer.
Should see the amount of stock my local Bunnings have for floor fans. It’s hilarious. Pallets and pallets of them, from cheapo a like this right through to high end. Can’t wait till end of season for all the clearance items.
