      That is the reason i'm not going to buy, it's a good deal but I know my old 360 will die if I try to spend any money on it.

        before i upgraded to a slim, i just moved my laptop next to my 360 and used an ethernet cable, i never saw the need for this, even when it was around $90

        You can always get a cheap router (like TP-Link TL-WR741ND for $28) and run it as a wireless bridge using Gargoyle or DD-WRT.

  Its still much much cheaper than what we'd pay if we were to buy it in an Aussie store, so +ve from me. I was going to buy one, but instead have decided to go with EoP and use an ethernet cable to my Xbox as a better solution which can be used for a range of devices rather than this which can be used only for the xbox 360.
