Based on the pictures, I’m assuming US Power Ports?

      (110V 500W 1000W peak), 110V ?

    • It's odd.

The larger Jackery 1000 has Aussie power sockets at 230V, while the smaller Jackery 500 and 240 both have specs listing 110V US power sockets.

I'd like to guess that they forgot to update their website for the two smaller models, but I really don't know.

In general though, Jackerys can be the MPV during a blackout. I was watching a live stream when the caster's power died, and they were only able to keep everything running and the stream going because they had some spare Jackery's laying around. They were able to keep cameras, sound, set lighting, etc. all running and the streaming kept going for a while until the power came back later in the stream (half an hour?).

      • do you mean "the MVP"? never heard MPV before

        • Whoops. Yes, that was a typo.

Seriously….selling 110v power station here in Australia??

  • +3

You might want to have a 80% off clearance sale of the US spec ones and try again when you have 230VAC units with Australian sockets….

I suppose that it’s convenient having everything in one sealed unit, but $828 for a 24Ah lithium battery and a sine converter seems quite expensive to me.

Would take the cheaper and better spec'd Bluetti any day of the week.

110V AC is absolutely useless here. Either update the info on your website or don't bother trying to sell this model to this market.

  • Yikes. not having an Australian plug for the market your in is absolutely abysmal. Also jackery are supposed to be a budget powerstation, you can get an ecoflow for a bit more which is much better. Both being lithium ion and not LiFePO4 isnt great either.

    • I'm sure they could throw in a cheap CCP adapter if you ask nicely.. 😅

  • I couldn't imagine you wanting to pay this much for something where the main feature (power plug) doesn't even work here.

When are lifepo3/4 batteries going to be more common?

  • Shows right here on the sale page that it's an AU plug. My money is on them copy/pasting the page from the US site and forgetting to update. Probably someone in marketing who isn't aware of the differences.

    • Wouldn't be buying it based on this though.
You'd have no recourse to return given the product page details.

      • Yep

  • Agreed, 110V in Australia?

What kind of Jackery is this?
