Comments

  • GoodWe. Heard its good.

    • 'GoodWe'

Could there be a more Chinese name for a Chinese company that exports products?

Perhaps only topped by Great Wall Motors.

  • +1

solar quotes might help you with determining which is a good brand to go with.

  • Longhi

    and Growatt / Goodwe.

  • What's important to you in making this choice? Is it max production no matter what, or price-performance balance, or something else like warranty and support?

  • Trina
    .

  • I'm Seraphim panels and a Growatt inverter, coupla years now and zero issues.

  • I’ve got risen panels and goodwe inverter, so far so good. Have mates who are happy with their risen panels also. I looked at this site as part of my research

    https://www.solarquotes.com.au/spottingadeal.html

The goodwe inverter has an app that shows you how much it’s generating probably a feature of most. Time to break even can blow out if spend too much, the risen/goodwe combination came highly recommended from 4 diff installers I had quotes from.

    • solar quote no where shows clear analysis of real cost which is easy to quantify… in my opinion.

go to https://www.solarshoponline.com.au/ and check out price of panels plus invertor.. there could be many other wholesalers around in the market which could get better price … but this just to make this calculations.

so basically 16 panels for trina cost @325 each is around $5200 (including GST)
then add invertor cost grwt @ 700 (incl GST)
racks @ $200/ per six panels for 550 (incl GST)

      now remove GST 550+700+5200 = 6450 (incl GST) = 5865 (without GST)

now deduct STC credits 72x32 = 2304 so after credit cost = 3561, install one day cost 1000 so total 4561 … !

now add extra if you need meter upgrade … etc. etc. etc. add few bucks for nuts & bolts and wires etc. etc… wholesale cost is much cheaper then what you get on ebay or amazon.

but people quoted me around 7800 after STC credit from origin and othr installer from solarquote around 6000 to 7000… !!! .. way more profit then a doctor GP makes within a day which is ridiculous in my opinion. remember one need to study 10 years to be GP and need a brain to remember stuff in my opinion … not saying panel installer don't need brain but it's hard work blue color job doesn't require 10 year of study to start working so remuneration should be in line of that as well in my opinion.

in am looking around someone who has installed at any of my friends or family and see if they had any issue or not but i will go with standard panel like trina or jinko and grawatt or goodwee for invertor nothing fancy like sunsolar or rec or canadian panels and will be looking 4500 mark nothing more ! (I am not GP so i can't afford more either :) )

above calculations doesn't include any special credit you get from VIC or SA like states .. !
