  • 300 Nm torque?

So you're telling me that this brand I've never heard of has 50% more torque than any other impact?

Edit: not gonna lie I'm impressed https://youtu.be/OfyuhTjqyPQ?t=342

obviously I haven't been keeping up with higher voltage tools, the 18v ones i've seen tested cap out at around 220 Nm

I like the ToolPRO Impact Driver for the fact that is low torque, 80Nm….

300Nm is too much for most jobs

    • Looks like it's got speed settings on the base of the driver.

"I like my car for the fact that it only goes 100km/hr at 5000rpm in 5th gear, having a Speedo that goes to 240 km/hr is too much for commuting"

      • Seems high for 100k's … although someone stuck the seadan diff in my ust which has higher gearing, it sits at just under 2000rpm at 100 and used 9.5lt/100k's which seems good to me for a 6cyl 4lt donk.

A dewalt 887 puts out 205nm torque. They can take a beating and handle any job.
Surely these aren't built to the same quality as dewalt, makita, aeg, bosch, festool…. otherwise every tradie would be using these.
    300nm is a sh*t-ton of torque!

Tradies won't buy off-brand as it's an embarrassment, I know!, they belittle people for not buying MW cause there's this dumb idea there's nothing else worthwhile and "We buy it so should you" mentality and until the stuff receives wide spread praise and acceptance, which a Costco thing never will!

  • 4AH batteries are expensive for this, like AU $119 Costco and $139.95 Ebay for genuine, (non genuine stuff, unless from battery specialist are absolute rubbish! and the specialists stuff aint cheap!) was hard to find the 24v version outside of Costco, so if costco dumps it you stuffed! … mostly 40 and 60v almost as much as a 5ah Makita, sure it's 24v …. but who can say they've used it regular for years and it still works and the batteries still work also? and Makita 5ah's are all over Ebay and elsewhere for around $100 each … Makita being a proven brand and we can all find out what cells are in and how good the BMS is in a Makita easily on youtube …. not so much this off-brand thing!

  • What is normal price?

  • Seems like alright price for the specs but have to wonder how smart of a purchase it is in the long term considering you're unlikely to really want to invest in the Greenworks 24v battery system, any idea if there's any battery cross compatibility options? Also is there any way for non-Costco members to get this aside from happening to know someone who is a member?

You can get a DeWalt 18v Brushless + 5Ah battery + charger + 30 piece impact bit set for $199 on clearance at the moment from Total Tools (other places too probably) which I think would be a much smarter buy.
