I have done Shake and Win the last 2 days and each time I have got a gift card similar, or better than the cost of the meal, dont forget you get two shakes per day

"Won" $15 Bacon deluxe medium meal with cheeseburger. Bacon deluxe medium meal is $13.60 full price by itself.

$10 Coles gift card did not come. Asked to ring customer service hotline. Says "no operators available leave your details and we'll call you back". Got no call back.

Ended up basically paying more than full price as a "prize". Don't partake in this. They ruined basically the only reason to ever visit HJs.

    I still paid $1.40 for it, did not exactly want it and it was so dry it was bordering on inedible so I don't really count that as much of an addition.

  To those following: after contacting support via email and being internally transferred in their support (idk why, probably just to add more time) I've finally got a code from a physical persons email address not the automated system and an automated "your gift card is on the way" email. Did not get the EFTPOS 100k chance code. It's been 7 days so far.

      Yup, apparently stopped from 7-Feb which is when this "Mega Month" promotion began. The ones that we get now are only the $5 Brekky Roll (which was earlier a $4 alternate prize on Shake N Win).
      
      By far, the Jack's Brekky Roll was the highest quality value Free Prize in Shake N Win, with RRP $7.25 (may slightly vary across stores).

Played with it this morning, had to actually be in a HJS within 30 minutes otherwise it goes away. I placed the order with it, thought I'd go pick it up on the way to work. It was cancelled once the 30 minutes were up, card was not charged. No breakfast for me :(

  if you'd screenshotted the barcode, you could still have claimed it provided it you were within their breakfast hour. most don't care if it's a screenshot; if they say "screenshots won't work", casually ask them to scan it anyway just in case

      i've found that my prize could still be claimed the next day, as long as i hadn't tried for new prizes yet (i don't actually know what the time limit is but hj's don't have a proper countdown expiry thing in place). better luck in drive thru as they're under more pressure to get the cars through and don't scrutinize as hard. that said, have a small screen phone helps so the countdown thing is harder to see.

  Yes, the App is terrible on all Android versions, at least for non-premium phones. The performance lag depends on the number of promotional "banners" or "cards" on the landing page (home) of the App. The more the cards, the more sluggish is the app performance on all pages / sections. Currently there are 7 cards — Mega Month, Coffee Loyalty, Carolina Whopper, Popping Pearls, Family Bundle, Whopper your way to LA, Jack's App Deals
  
  If you open the app and scrolll down sowly, you would see all these banners/cards.
  
  My Shake N win is so slow that even after I claim the prize on the App, it errors out as "Offer has expired". When the number of cards reduces, the app becomes usable again.

To anyone with an unclickable button, just go to https://www.hjshakewin.com.au/ and put in your Gift Card Claim Code.

Frustratingly when you claim a gift card (tested with $10 Coles), you get the message:

You will receive an email with details on how to redeem your prize shortly. If you don’t receive an email within 2 business days, please check your junk mail folder for an email from [email protected]

But actually the form response has your gift card location from Vii in it but the browser just doesn't show it to you. Idiots.

  I've gone through my browser history (since you can't claim the code more than once) and found the link for when I redeemed my Coles $10 Gift Card, but what you've described doesn't show up at all, there are no colesservices/viisolutions links when I check the source code.
  
  Not sure how you've obtained this, perhaps some clearer instructions would be helpful.

Got the "$12 TRIPLE CHEESEBURGER MEDIUM MEALBONUS $10 SHELL GIFT CARD", claim code received almost instantly after I picked up my order. However, after claiming the code I got another email that said they will send another email to request my postal address. Sounds like they are sending physical shell gift cards.
Paid my order with the Restaurant gift card that bought with 10% off, so I actually paid $10.8 for my order and I get $10 bonus shell gift card, not a bad deal.

HJ really need to expand their locations it’s hard to find one near me and I’ve moved house more than five times in Sydney. Maccas otoh are everywhere. And I much prefer whoppers to Big Macs.

  It's not the matter of HJs expanding, it's more the fact of them shrinking and shuttering stores. North Sydney, Central Station, Castle Towers and Parramatta Westfield are all high foot traffic areas and all have closed down.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're purposely not sending them, as they say "you must contact us within the next 3 business days otherwise your claim on the prize might be forfeited". So I guess lots of people who forget will never actually get their hands on the gift card.

  Redemption code or actual gift card? There is an extra step, you have to type the redemption code they email you into a web form and then they send you another email with either a digital gift card or they ask you to fill out your address so I can mail you a physical one.
