    tried to make my own suntory highball but its just not the same unless you're drinking it in some dingy izakaya surrounded by japanese businessmen smoking inside the restaurant like it's going out of fashion

      I think its actually that australian law says you cant advertise smoking of any kind.

  I love Boss coffee but at $4 a can, its just too expensive

    They're also different tasting from Japanese Boss Coffee.

    Better to keep buying it from Asian supermarkets for $3 a can.

  just doesnt taste as good as it does in japan (also we have much better iced coffee here anyway, so the whole 'boss coffee is good' thing is just because its really the only option.)

    Which iced coffee do you think is better?
    The only one I've tried that I though was better than Boss is Hunt and Brew.

      I prefer the Dare double strength lattes but I think they're out of production now.

      I make cold brew at home with the beans i get from a local roaster most of the time, but pre-made those were the best I'd found.

          @alebox: yeah, not really into them but i only tried the one. still prefer my cold brew.

          I get my beans for free because i know the roaster so its the ozbargain gold standard in terms of value.
