  • Hi, I am currently on the 12 months plan on boost and it is expiring next month. If I buy this deal and extend my expiry date for another month via chat, will I be eligible for the Cashback or I need to port out and in?

    • the last one is correct

    • I did the same last time however the old number was ported to new sim. The cash back has been tracked but not sure will it be approved as it is still pending .

      • Hmmm, I'm in the same predicament

  • Can this be used to "recharge" an existing boost account (ie, if i have purchased one of these previously) or this is ONLY a starter pack for new customers?

  • better than nothing

I like the way you subtly included Boost Mobile’s corporate slogan

  • What's currently the best way to port out and in at the moment? Most $2 sims require at least a $30 recharge. Any specials?

    • I activated $2 vodafone sim via online chat without recharge, then I filled out port in form and transferred my old number to that sim. I transferred to a new boost sim 2 days later without issue

      • I did not know that you can activate sim without recharge. I bought one long time ago (can't remember which mobile provider) but they insisted on a min $10 recharge to activate my sim.

        • That's what the online chat customer service said; but after porting in, I didn't recharge, and I transferred to boost without issue

    • think aussiebroadband still has first month free trial

felix mobile is free for the first 30 days.
and there are a few esim options out there

  • I'm currently with Kogan (365 plan expires end of April) and have been for several years but over the past couple of months the Vodafone network has become unsuable for some reason. Looking to switch to Boost and want to test the network in my area. This would be the way to go right?

if you activate a new number and try out certainly. If you port your number to this deal, you'll need to port in/out again to take advantage of new user discount from boost again.

      • Yep good idea, just want to activate and try the sim around my area to see how it goes…

        • +1

don't forget to check&disable auto renew.

  • The ozb post says must be activated within 30 days but the actual sim pack says expiry date May 2024…what's the right advice?

  • Currently overseas, and I can't seem buying any of these boost deals whether I'm on vpn or not. Is this a known issue?

Keep getting "sorry we're unable to process your order. Please try again later" after entering credit card details

  • It should keep 30 days with Boost even expired after 28 days to get cash back eligible?

Cashrewards also has 60GB plan with $2 profit. If need more data. https://imgur.com/a/ZDUS9e4

  • Anyone have a sim card arrive DOA? I activated my sim card but wont get recognised by any device….

    • yes i had a faulty sim once, happened last month. contacted live chat to request a replacement sim, got it quite fast - it was just the sim in a startrack satchel without anything else at all (rather than the standard delivery using registered post letter)

      • Did it allow you to use same number?

        • yes because it was a faulty sim

          • @tofu: I contacted support and the guy told me to pay for another sim…. what the heck.

  • how easy is it to change plan after 1 month
