Hi, it's release day and it still hasn't shipped has anyone else had this problem? Shouldn't they have shipped it a day or two before.

also worth noting Amazon always ship my pre-orders on the day of release or the day before
i wasnt expecting it to arrive on release i was expecting it to atleast ship on release day

They said its in its final preperation before shipping

It will probably require a lot of patching so the people receiving it pre-release are the guinea pigs…

Its brilliant marketing and I take my hat off to the company for this strategy…
IGN review said only minor technical issues regarding lighting, load times and a couple small glitches they encountered with their playthrough but no major glitches.
Pretty unusual for a new release game these days :)
Yeh, if you preorder a game and it's a day 1 play, don't get it from Amazon. Your best bet is to preorder and price match at JB or EB.
I think EB is sold out with the deluxe edition.
it wasnt going to be playable on day 1 i knew that but i was expecting for it to atleast have been shipped on day 1
I had given up on mine arriving yesterday but it was delivered at 8PM.
Nice i contacted support and what they said is they will contact the shipping team and ask them to ship my order asap and they have given me $10 credit
That's better than nothing I guess. I live pretty close to the delivery station so I usually get my orders on time.
My copy from Amazon was delivered this afternoon. It's been many years since I've had a game from them delivered on release day. I don't really understand why they cannot ship pre-ordered games on the day before

Yeah, I received a notification yesterday evening that it had been shipped and received a Couriers Please tracking number. I didn't get any notification from Couriers Please (usually they send an SMS) and they didn't ring the doorbell but just left it outside. I only knew it had been delivered when I received another notification from Amazon.

I just received an email from them saying that the shipment is delayed. They don’t have a new estimated delivery date.
I might have to pick this up from JB or something.

I didnt get that email when did you order i ordered on the 18th of jan amazon customer service said it will be shipped in the next delivery cycle and that they have upgraded my shipping speed at their expense and they gave me $10 credit which i used some of on valhalla for pc

I’m a prime member so was already on expedited delivery - although not sure if there is a faster option.@kaozgamer: im in new zealand they dont have prime shipping here so the extra faster shipping would just be the free one with prime
They screwed me on the standard edition today, ordered in Sept, then an email this morning saying it was delayed, talked to a couple of reps who were absolutely useless, no solution, not able to change the address and not able to cancel. Looks like I have to wait to Monday now (if I am lucky). Never offered any compensation either. Will never trust Amazon again.

hi i pre ordered the deluxe edition of hogwarts legacy from amazon which released 4 days ago and my order is still yet to ship i have contacted amazon several times and a finally got an answer they said they sold me stock which they dont have wonderful but they did give me $40 in credit which is nice i still would rather have had my game shipped on release though
That can indeed happen sometimes with pre-orders although they're usually good at launch day deliveries.
Just a get a normal version price-matched at JB or local shop to play this weekend. The Deluxe version doesn't really add anything of value beyond a couple cosmetics that aren't worth it. You can always upgrade later if you really wanted to as well.

take the amazon credit, cancel order and buy elsewhere.
Thing is it is out of stock everywhere in new zealand so thats not really an option
@CodeXD: I really want it on ps5 because apparently the exclusive quest is one of the best quests in the game also i think it would run better

Hybroid already said to buy standard edition and then upgrade to deluxe.
@CodeXD: How do you preorder “too late”. They shouldn’t have the listing up if they can’t supply. The fault is clearly with Amazon.
@djsweet: It happens a lot especially Amazon pre-order. When I pre-ordered pokemon scarlet, I received it on the Saturday, but my friend who pre-ordered the day before me got it on the Friday release date. Even though both pre-orders were 30+ days from release date.
Amazon will only have set amount of copies available - there have been many warnings in amazon pre-order deals indicating that if you want it on release day - you need to pre-order early to get allocated a copy. Someone here pre-ordered hogwarts legacy in March 2022 lol

Only want the deluxe versionWhen you pre-order on Amazon, they give you the estimated arrival date. Sometimes they're off, but other times you will know if you didn't make it into the pre-order allocation.
@CodeXD: 18th of jan when they did the good deal and it didnt give an estimate it just said arriving 10th-14th feb

@[Deactivated]: My partner has it on PC - I have it on PS5. The PC version is definitely buggier, with many frame rate drops (the GPU is a 2080 so it should be slightly more powerful than PS5 in theory - though less optimised for). A patch just came out for PC today with 'bug fixes' so I am sure they are onto it :)
@[Deactivated]: Yeah I get the feeling that the PS5 version was the one they were hoping to make the most polished. It's been absolutely flawless for me! (17 hours in)
@Ghost47: It's honestly an 11/10 for me. The last game to impress me this much was Skyrim in 2011. They've really nailed it!
They've created so many magical moments with awesome music to match. There's just something about being able to hop onto your broomstick and fly across the lake with Hogwarts as a dramatic backdrop, while the classical music notes roll in and complement the scenery to perfection.

@JimmyLmao: Trying to avoid spoilers although I've come across a few already. It would be awesome to play this on high settings on a huge screen.
Glad that it's turning out to be a good game despite everyone basically saying that all the demos were just polished up vertical slices.
