Who is going to buy 11th or 10th Gen Intel now? 12400f and 12600kf is not too expensive and runs more efficient then 11th i7.

Maybe people who just need a mobo replacement, were given a 10/11th gen cpu or plenty of other reasons.

      • +1

But I'd think they'd usually want a much cheaper mobo than this. Current-gen boards cost this much…

        • +2

I'm not really commenting on the deal, rather the fact that people still have reasons to be buying a 10/11th gen compatible mobo.

I'm waiting on some deals for 13 th gen mobo, they are more expansive then the chip

    • You can still B660 or Z690 for 13th gen.

    • +1

      z690 works great on 13gen.

Not a huge price difference again, maybe with some sales soon ?

Just remember to double check with bios compatibility first

Intel imo is a bad deal. Am5 even more expensive will have more upgrade path. Even the 13th is the last chip for the current Motherboard. Considering the 7700x dropped $100 us yesterday there plenty of reason to get AMD now.

    • +1

thats what i'm thinking too. although all the benchmarks now seem to still favour intel. Do i get something thats not as good but have better upgrade potential later or get an intel and just enjoy what i can get now. argh. so many questions

      • +1

new amd x3d coming out, might as well wait for that and see, but current state of play would be i513600k i think

        • agreed. That appears to be best value for money and beats the equivalent AMD chipset. But then you're stuck with an old mobo…
