Wait time is utterly woeful, Amazon says "FREE Prime delivery February 22 - March 21". So 3 to 7 weeks.

But if you're slowly collecting PC parts while you wait for GPU prices to stop being silly, it might be OK?

$150 seems very cheap for brand name H670 board (which is slightly better than a brand name B660, which start at about $175 right now)

    The 4 core 8 thread i3-12100f is only $155 and beats the popular Ryzen 5 5600 in overall gaming performance.

    If you want a stretch a bit and get really quite close to much pricier top end CPUs, the i5-12400F is $245 (and gets within 5% of the popular $400-600 CPUs like the 5800x3d)

    It also supports the newer raptor lake CPUs, which are a bit faster, though perhaps less bang for buck right now: i5-13400F is $350, but only around 0-7% faster, depending on the game/settings.

      Isn't it the opposite with the 5600 being better in game performance? The 12100F might be faster in specific games but overall it shouldn't and even less likely with DDR4.
