What about fire effect ?
Read the description. The fire effect fit your every need.
Hahahah every need…
Yeh I agree, pretty awful isnβt it
This looks like the Harman Kardon speakers.
Would that make this a Flaming 'ardon?
Besides the exceptional SQ, doable as a night light too?
Exceptional may be a stretch even for $12. Though I guess it only has to sound like, say, a $20 speaker to qualify.
Fair enough. Though really mainly interested on its night light possibility.
Here's a cunning plan: Buy a night light.
@GnarlyKnuckles: You must have been out and about when it was time for God to hand out some grey matter. πβ
@pacificstorm: I am an atheist, and I don't believe in handouts; thus my unusually high-functioning 'grey matter' is a direct result of evolution.
If you, conversely, relied on a handout from a fictitious deity to acquire yours, I guess that might explain why you are 'mainly interested' in spending $12 on a speaker to use it as a night light, instead of simply spending $5 on an actual night light. π
How do it order it?
Its saying This product is not currently available for delivery through our partner websites.
Meaning O.O.S?
Go into a store and buy one.
Bought this cos heck it's only $12 and I needed a faint light for my desk for those late evening work. It's a small thing the thumbnail tricks making it look like a harmon kardon size… it's as tall as a standard drink glass.
Flame effect is crap, it blinks so quickly - not a fire effect at all.
Sound is okay for $12. It's got volume but sound is slightly muffled in the mid range. Ok for some casual listening just to fill the space with some sound.
It's probs best for primary school kids or senior citizens for some sound and light. It has a 3.5mm input plus miniSD card, and bluetooth.
It's not OOS, it's just not available online but you can find them instore.
How is it powered? USB?
It's got a 1200mah built in batt. Charge with usb-c
Btw sound has bass but it's not EQ'd well, it's thick in the mid range which is what makes it sound slightly muffled. Overall sound is not tinny but anything with bass, incl male vocals on podcasts, isn't very clear. Mid-high to treble range is decent so if you mainly listen to female voice podcasts or related music, like classical, it is good value at $12
Picked one up today, sound is decent but definitely do not buy it if you are expecting a candle-like feature. It's either in lamp mode with adjustable brightness, or 'flashing' mode, with a set brightness and constant flash, like a danger warning signal etc.
personally seen the product in action and couldn't believe the sound for $12.
