Am I wrong in thinking that the A750 has half the performance of the 3080… Not really comparable

      • +1

A750 is more comparable to 3060/70

        • +3

And you think the BPC build doesn't have trusted brand parts?

        • +11

What's the point if the systems aren't comparable?

Have you read the description and looked at the parts used?

        • +1

you said much better machine, now you said a haircut was taken for a cheaper GPU

    • +4

      Lol. Cool story bro

    • +1

      $1906?

  • Good stuff, if can swap 3080 with 4070ti would be better, considering similar price

    • +16

That won't help them clear 3080 stock though

  • Centre Com seems to be selling the exact GPU used in this build for $1,099 instead of $1,279 shown in the post. link.

For the experts out there, would the non-modular PSU be of an issue down the road? I see lots of people asking for modular PSUs…
Also if doing 1440p gaming, is CPU going to be a bottleneck here?
    Thanks!

    • +1

nice to have, less cable management and cluttering, but from experience you might save about 2 or 3 cables at most, does affect temps slightly if you got a tight case, and if you know you have enough 8pins for gpu down the road i.e 2x then its not too critical, cable tech evolve very slow and have kept mostly the same in last decade or so.

    • 1080p gaming cpu might be bottleneck, but 1440p should be fine

    • Semi modular is good enough, as all the cables you will use anyway are attached.

If you can shove excess cables in a drive bay then no need to go modular at all. You can always buy converting cables.

    • 12400f is one of the best budget gaming CPU last generation, it should be still one of the best before price drop for newer gen cpu.

for less than $200 to upgrade to 4070 ti with pretty decent gap in between

  • Does anyone have a viewpoint on BCPs after sales support? I haven’t had a great journey with their sales support, and I’m concerned that normally sales support is better than after sales support at most places. Thx

My 4070 TI build from a previous post was delivered this week (~2 weeks from purchase to delivery to Syd)
My order was fairly standard, it was a build with 1 upgrade that was a drop down on the form so i didnt need to contact them directly.
was packaged very well with plenty of foam inside the PC to ensure no damaged parts - thumbs up from my side but again, i didnt need to get in touch with them

I have had 1 build from BPC Tech which was in the middle of Covid lockdowns (2020). I didn't want it posted so drove the 1 hour to collect. Told everything was fine & had been tested prior to reboxing.
Got home & set it up. None of the RGB was working & the Apps for the RGB also came with errors when trying to open the program. Everything else worked fine & back then I was not totally computer literate to diagnose & fix the problem myself.
Rang BPC, explained the situation & was told to post it to them. I declined this offer (Told them I would bring it in for them to check) & asked if they could have a look whilst I was there. I was told "NO" as they were busy completing new orders & could take up to 7 days for them to check. I explained this was a fresh build that was not working as described. I was told "Sorry that's the best they could do".
I decided to hold onto it with RGB & later that week we went into lockdown again. So if I had of sent it or taken it in I would have had no computer for weeks on end.

I don't NEG there deals as they have some good deals but I do tell this story if anyone asks about their experience with BPC Tech

Sounds like the rgb cables were not attached to the MB

cool story. basically no after sales support.

        • That's what I was replying to…My experience with after sales support

3080 10gb should be dead and buried, it was everyone man and his dog crypto mining card.

And ngreedia still charging $1200 for it for 3 year old card.

    • Not GPU"s faulty though. The problem is the wrong price on It as happens with all NVidia GPU

  • Waiting for BPC to increase the price like the recent 3060ti PC.

  • Wow, a whole PC for the price of a 3080 I paid for last year…

  • is it possible to add a wifi card to this mobo
