Are those any good?
Good for storing 50kg of chicken you have stockpiled
Yes. I use these to store my produce for longevity (is it working? Don't know but keeps my fridge organised) and also my raw meat mix formula for my cats.
I'm now also using for dry foods. They stack and they look nice.
They good?
Are these any good?
Good, are they
Is that any good?
Great for anyone wanting to store mechanical keyboard switches - You're welcome OzBargain.
Thanks! What size would you recommend?
I think I get the 700ml ones for 100 switches which is probably too big and you could get the 460ml ones if you had less than 100 switches - I've heard of fitting 100 in the 460ml but I just like them to have a bit of room so they dont get crushed on each other.
Way ahead of you - I have 10 of these.
I have 11
What is this? Some kind of competition?! Time for me to buy 2 more so I can 1 up you
@avgbowlofpho: Just bought another 2 - 13 for me.
Pros: They look solid, are stackable, and seem to seal well. They also look pretty good.
Cons: The wider ones don't have a vertical face that is completely flat for sticking long labels on.
I imagine there is a reason they are clearing out all the sistema containers with the black connectors - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/sistema-ultra-c…
in my opinion they are very fragile and prone to breaking - the clip that is - specifically the pin piece which holds the clip.
I would stay clear from this model.
Are they clearing them out?
All Sistema/Decor containers (including these) have 50% off every month or so.
I have replaced most of my food containers with these. I started replacing my food containers from April 2020, as at that time I started wfh and online grocery order. From wws (worst experience ever) I purchased a few of these containers in my first online order with them (only half arrived). I haven't had any experience of broken clip or any other issues with these containers in last 2 years and 9 months. I have to admit that they all sit in my kitchen cupboards, and most of them would not be opened more than once a week on average, but I do have a few of them gets opened daily or even more often.
I have one with a broken clip, think it's because there's no handle and a good seal so you tend to pull on the clip. I stopped doing this and haven't had any more break yet and you can still close the broken one ok so i haven't checked if there are replacement clips.
I do wish this range had some bigger rectangles. The bigger size are square and they don't fit well in my cupboards
Do these seal better then the blue versions
Yes, they are air tight. I use them to take my lunch to work and if the food is hot when you close the lid, it creates quite a vacuum.
I use mine to store coffee beans. looks well & sealed.
I open these at least 2x a day on weekdays and no broken seals whatsoever. I think mine is about 2yrs old. only buy when half priced in Coles or Woolies. :DWoolworths has them now at half price along with the clear lunch box range
Are these any good?
