500g chicken breast strips valued $14

    Wow $28 per/kg for chicken breast, that's madness!!! It's $10.50 per/kg @ Woolworths. Free Range is $13.00 per/kg.
    Neg for much cheaper elsewhere.

    • They could be special chickens though

    Hi All,

Quick Review, I purchased the last Meat Pack Deal. The quality of the meat was very very average. You are much better go to you're local butcher that you trust. It is not premium quality meat at all.

Not sure how they grade their meat quality which is a concern.

Also the value per KG is extortion to be honest. Stay from these guys. You will see them posting before with promotions but its a mark-up.

Guys - AGAIN! - You used to be good, I used to order a box from you once a month or once every two months, but holy molly, you haven't offered a deal in ages.
I just spent 5 minutes to price out what you're offering from Meat Emporium, which is 10 mins from me.

Came to $125.39, and one of the choices was choosing the more expensive Porterhouse.

So enough, you haven't offered a deal in ages, and you've just been spamming on here. Don't know why you haven't been banned already

  • Is there any online meat stores that are actually worth buying from? Or are all expensive/average?

I tend to feel this is what is misunderstood by the haters of Sutton Forest. They are all happy eating supermarket meat, which to me is bore tainted pork and mince and chicken ladened with water. But that is what they compare prices to and don't understand why some of us prefer quality butcher meat.

https://meatatbillys.com.au/product-category/billys-bundles/ If they compared prices to other Butchers, like this one for instance.. Then Sutton Forest are actually a good deal.

I am not saying their meat is perfect, I am not a fan of their lamb legs. But the chickens and mince are not water ladened and the pork tastes good!

Searching locally in Brisbane for a decent bundle/pack is soul destroying wallet wise.

@Piko - How wrong you are about where some of us buy our meat from. Haven't bought supermarket meat in over 3 years. I specced out the prices from Meat Emporium using their farm beef and it came to much cheaper than this "non-deal"

        • @ctrlchris there ya go! try Meat Emporium :)

Actually I confirmed the price at Meat Emporium was only $5 more than this deal if purchased separately.

I then checked in reverse, one of Meat Emporiums packs verses Sutton Forrest individually… Sutton Forrest was $15 cheaper

          I give up

  • Will prices like these, im surprised they havent closed down.

Op do you care to respond to people criticising Sutton for using this space to advertise exorbitant prices for average quality meat?
