Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards, and ineligible on any payments made with Crypto currency.

Considering how often we get 96% Cashback deals this is not a bargain at all.

If the price after Cashback is higher than $10 we don't want to hear about it.

Yeah, these deals are monthly, if not fortnightly.

    • Agreed, wait for 96% cashback

No deal buddy, way too expensive considering we get up to 97% cashback on Nord all the time

  • $10 seems like a good deal for a VPN that leaks like a siv, especially to the fuzz

    • Not just that, will also allow authorities to capture your data whenever they ask. This is not a special vpn which is why frequent 90+% off “deals”. They probably sell your data as well.

      • Even through cashrewards, locks your identity in when refunding the $.

      • Not sure what you're talking about. It will only leak if you haven't set up your DNS correctly (to run though the VPN too).

Also they're located in Panama. This means that NordVPN falls outside of the surveillance alliances Five Eyes, Nine Eyes, and 14 Eyes. As a result, no government can force NordVPN to surrender data.

      • Sounds like some people are paranoid and or hiding something. Wouldn't worry about it for region switching for sign-ups or streaming.

Your ISP already has a later of protection unless you have turned CGNAT off.

  • Anyone do realize that if you install NordVPN on pc it slows down the pc ?

It is likely running threat detection by default. I turned it off as I noticed it's a bit of a resource hog.

    • Yes this happened to me also. I've subscribed to Nord on 2 separate occasions hoping that the speed drop was just something in their initial software and had improved with updates. But alas, in my case anyway, I've experienced 40-60% speed loss using this VPN.

    • Use OpenVPN and download the OpenVPN profiles from Nord

      • Community edition or server access?

        Is OpenVPN free?
OpenVPN Access Server is free to install and use for 2 simultaneous VPN connections for testing purposes.

Is it a decent free alternative? Does the app work seemlessly on Chromecast with Google TV?

Anybody just run it in a virtual machine instead?

    • I’m sure someone does.

Who in the right mind buys NordVpn without 96% cashback?

      FTFY

        I do, it isn't that bad 🤷‍♂️

  • LOL nope.

  • Shopback is 80%.. discount is still too low

  • 96% cashback at Cashrewards rn, ends in 2 days

    • What's that?
Nord VPN currently 30%@ cash rewards.

Just noticed 100% cashback with first purchase using 'Topcash', never heard of it but popped up on the cashback button.

Don't particularly want another one, not test it out on a big amount.

      • Took a gamble with Topcashback
        100% back on first purchase.
Doesn't show transaction for 7 days apparently- hmm

        2yr Nord
        A$148.83/2 years
        GST 10% - A$14.88
        Total: A$163.72/2 years

Seems a lot more expensive than it should be, but if 100% cashback then shouldn't matter?

There was a voucher from the Nord website applied, hopefully that's ok hmm.

Edit: cashback 'earnings' only tracked at $99 ffs.
        May refund.
