Again available for a good price. Close to cheapest in history. I guess Apple products are really rarely discounted and I need one. I use it on an IPhone SE 2022 with a slim case. I am not worried with damaging the battery especially because it’s a genuine product and it won’t charge as quick as for an IPhone 12 and upwards. Did you know that you can get a free new battery if your new phone battery drops under 80% battery health within a year? Just go to your nearest Apple Store. I did it several times in the past for an older iPhone. I also use my $5 promo for playing a song from Amazon music. It’s only $52 for me at the end.

If you're worried about damaging your battery, why not go from this one from Belkin, a reputable brand, for $20 less? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08ZJVL8H5
There are a lot of bad reviews for that. However it’s ordered and I loose my promo credit if I cancel.
There's more 'average' reviews i.e. 3 or 4 stars, but it's still an average 4 stars out of 5. The main 1 stars I see are people complaining about it being USB-C which imo isn't a valid complaint given that iPhones come with USB-C cables anyways
I would buy this if I have an iphone.
This is $29 at bigW or via eBay at bigW minus $5 code free delivered via eBay plus.
Having seen the component teardowns, there is nothing wrong with what OP has bought, you guys are in a competition for the lowest price. OP listed a product from a great brand, then average Belkin was suggested and now we finish right down to the mediocre Cygnett.
@Fuzor: Did anyone even go to check that the Belkin gives 7.5W compared to 15W on an actual MagSafe? Same goes for cygnet.
I've seen ppl use this at work and it ain't as good as Belkin….would recommend Belkin anyday when it comes to MagSafe compliance
I've bought a few Cygnett products, they look good, the specs are good and then they turn out to be a piece of crap.
7.5W
Not the same, it’s not the boostcharge which actually does 15W.
Get a life dude
See, Apple users feel personally attacked whenever someone talks about Apple obsession. Sorry I hurt your feelings.
Studies have been done on this, so sorry you have to accept the facts.
Did you know that you can get a free new battery if your new phone battery drops under 90% battery health within a year? Just go to your nearest Apple Store. I did it several times in the past for an older iPhone.
+1 for this thank you I didn’t know that
But my iPhone 13 Pro Max only dropped 1% in 12 months lol
Fair enough, it happened with an IPhone 7. It applies to new phones but also if you replace your old battery for a new one at Apple. I believe it’s some sort of consumers law.
I believe it’s some sort of consumers law
Why?
I don’t think Apple does it because they want to do it. An Apple assistant told me that they have to replace it because of a consumers law.
@Thrifty Dan: I thought it was 80% where they replace it?
@jace88: You are right! Sorry my bad, I should go to bed. It’s late!
@Thrifty Dan: As long as it shuts down unexpectedly or overheats during usage, you can get it changed for free. Does not need to be 80%
Apple lady told me too 12 months warranty they also have acl pamphlets I think jv took over Apple
Sorry it’s 80%…
This makes more sense haha. I was gonna say, damn that's generous.
And FYI, it's 2 years, not 1 year warranty. For Apple, it's 1 year warranty by Apple supplied on top of the 1 year included under ACL
Ok ta. Thanks for clarifying!
It's really not generous. Your battery health should be above 90% after 3-5 years. I've never seen a normal battery drop after 2 years.
@furyou: Don’t think many or any phones are holding 90%+ of their initial capacity after over 1800 charges, assuming a charge cycle per day over 5 years.
@Smigit: You're not going 100% a day, I mean depends on the user but you're plugged in part of the day, the battery maybe goes to 60-70% then charges again.
Well my old phones are holding up very well. My other device batteries have great health over years of use.
Same applies to their other devices. Can be longer if you’ve maintained Apple Care.
Just a few weeks ago I took a series 6 watch in that was reporting 79. They seem to send those away and seemingly rather than replace the battery they give you a refurbished one back, which means you’ll get one back with a new casing and glass so no more micro scratches if like me you had some very slight scuffing. Lucked out and they didn’t have my specification series 6 available to replace with so they upgraded me to a Series 7 in the process.
Yeah and if you’ve had a history of issues eg my wife’s OG back cover kept popping off, apple just offered to refund the full original purchase price three years later since they didn’t stock the parts and this amount was more than a series 3 was brand new at the time. Gotta love apple support.
mine only dropped 1% after a year as well :(
damn u high quality product.
whats the best way to get it under 90%? i buy a new phone every year, i have the 14 ProMax now and need this to drop below 90% after a year, lol.
Why is this $60 lol
Should be $30 ffsIt is 57!
Should be $28.5 ffs*
This is not the Polish market! You can get there a “real” Rolex for that price as well!
What's apple policy for changing batteries on old phones?, I got a old IPhone 7plus, battery is almost useless now needs recharging after less than an hour. Will it cost more than the phone is worth now?
Thanks not worth it for me.
Would Officeworks price-match Amazon?
Also works on the new AirPods Pro charging case.
