I have a Xiaomi 34" ultrawide monitor and just today I've noticed that these dotted lines are showing, I've restored the monitor to factory settings, updated my GPU graphics drivers, changed HDMI cords and tested the monitor on my PS5 & switch and the lines still appear so it definitely appears to be the monitor's issue and not anything else. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem with their monitor before and if there was a fix before sending it back as it's still under warranty.

Only 5 months
panel is gone, time to warranty.
Don't know what the problem is exactly, but that's a fault for sure. Panel has gone bung and it's time to return.
That's %100 a damaged monitor. Not sure how it would happen if you didn't do anything physically to the monitor to damage it

It looks like one of the electrical components failed.
Lines on TV's can also occur without physical damage over time the T board I think they're called in Tv's starts to develop lines. Happened to my 9yo Samsung tv starts with a few then more develop…
