    Looks awesome.
If anyone is into metal, I really enjoyed Metal: Hellsinger which is also on Gamepass.

    • This game is not metal

    • I enjoyed it too.

Though to anyone reading, that game is basically Doom 2016 style shooty shooty and atmosphere, it's an FPS, but it's rhythmic like this, you have to shoot in time with the beat to get more damage and whatnot, I only downloaded this game because I liked that game so much.

  • Think this is the first game I've encountered that's not compatible with the original Xbox One, which is a pity - I'm sure my kids would have loved playing

Should be able to cloud stream it to the console!

Best performance via ethernet cable. Can imagine this sort of game will struggle more than others given the latency is probably more important than other games for the rhythm. But I've had a good experience so far.

    • Just Dance 2023 and Goat Sim 3 are the first games my kiddo has to come back up to the lounge room if they want to play.

  • Had a quick bash. You're supposed to attack in a rhythm which you keep by either watching the throbbing world or your life bar. Seems fun enough.

    • Same as crypt of the necrodancer?

      • More a beat ‘em up where you get damage bonus for correct timing on the beat from what I’ve played so far. I’m hopeless at rhythm games so not getting the bonuses much so far but the game looks and sounds great so far. Real jet set radio vibes for me.

      • As greg already said, it's more of a hack and slash beat em up where you do more damage if you time the button presses right

      • You know about my romantic life?

A lot easier than crypt of the necrodancer

    • Or presumably by listening to the music? I was the same with Metal Hellsinger until I got used to the rhythm

      • Not specifcally the music, just have to attack, dodge to a constant beat.

        • Oh cool!

          • @theguyrules: Yeah it's less about the actual music and more hitting X X X X X X or Y . Y . Y . Y . Y

      • I've given it a go, you can absolutely rely on the music rather than visual cues to time your hits. Just check your latency (lag between video and audio) in the menu to make sure it's within tolerance.

Annoyingly it only lets you see how much latency you have, and not adjust for it if you have any, like you can with Rock Band, for example.

  • downloaded on gamepass

  • I need to get a ps5 now, oh oh I mean Xbox…
