  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's as simple as that because women's standard shoe width is B, which makes it a 'narrow' for men as their standard width is D.

    Asics shoes do come in Mens and Womens versions for width
    Womens shoes are normally more narrow than mens variants
    This is a very valid point to bring up

    While you can convert sizing from Mens and Womens US (for unisex styles), the width is not the same.
    Also, the difference between UK (which is unisex) vs US (Mens and Womens) is not the same across brands!
