Wow. Normally the kindle version cost $81.71.

    • +13

(profanity) that, I'd rather stay fat.

  • +5

99.5% of ozbargainers are fat couch potatoes and don’t care about losing weight

    • +2

Jacket potato is a preparation of potato. It may be served with fillings, toppings or condiments such as butter, cheese, sour cream, gravy, baked beans, and even ground meat or corned beef…

      • +2

What do you call a dressed-up couch potato?

Yep, you guessed it, a Jacket Potato!

    • Speak for yourself.

    • +1

If you collected stats on where the deal interest is, I'd say you're pretty much spot on.

  • +4

The effort required kills the deal imo

How do you read without kindle? Can you PDF it to read on the phone while sitting at kfc drive through?

    • On the kindle app on your phone.

    • +1

it is actually in pdf format and cannot open in a kindle! only readable on kindle app on your phone/tablet…

This will go well with all the Domino's vouchers I've been using lately.

  • Oos ?

  • +3

    Skimmed through, some great info.

Only downfall is the amount of stock photos, bold words, graphic layout and text layout is an eye sore. It looks like the book been created by power point.

    • So many stock photos. It feels more like it is suited behind a paywall on some dodgy website.

  • +1

Of course…. Another secret formula :D

  • PEDs?

  • I thought by getting this I would gain Leeann on the cover. ☺️

    Spoiler:
Healthy diet and regular exercise… Who knew?

Disappointed, I opened this up thinking it was the book written by Martin Berkham who popularised the term Lean Gains through his website www.leangains.com

He has a book and this is not it.

    • +2

Yep, I thought so too. I bought that book around a year ago and Berkham mentions that he was ripped off by YT'er kinobody also.. Sad

The LG method is great, never thought i'd count cals but using an app was easy and I'm in better shape at 40 than i ever was in my 20s

      • Thanks for mentioning this! Didn't know about this.

Are you just following what's mentioned in the LG book or are there any specific workout plans/diets? And which app are you using?

        • +3

No problem. I applied some of the advice as I was already in a decent rhythm with diet and exersise, but I definitely stepped up a few things after reading it.

I do intermittent fasting and always weight train fasted then break it with post workout smoothy… After reading his book I stepped up my protein intake significantly, and increased my eating window to eat 3 meals in 6 hours on training days.

Calorie counting was a game changer not just in the macro sense, but also building up a database of my understanding of micronutrients. I use 'mynetdiary' it's great. I was already quite lean but having the extra discipline and accountability of the app enabled my to maximize muscle protein synthesis and still cut at the same time. As a result of what i do I can now effortlessly maintain around 10% bodyfat with 6pack abs.. I've not even used mynetdiary since xmas and haven't been to the gym in 6 weeks also so its pretty easy once you empower the dietry habbits

          • @Sublimit: that's awesome. thanks so much for that. I'll look into it more

        • There used to be a leangains calculator but the site's gone (i saved the .swf file for it though). Its pretty much just a macro calculator though, with 1g lean protein intake per pound of body weight.

      • +1

To be fair, Berkhan refused to give detailed advice on his website because "it's coming in the book", then didn't write the book for 10 years

        • Hahahaha I remember this

  • This vs. Liver King method?

    • Don't give that moron more attention lol
      Disgusting human
All that meat and still needs roids (but at least admitted to using them - most fake natties selling ebooks and plans clearly are but lie to their customer's faces to make money).

      • I don't think he admitted to it, it was definitely more that he was outed as a fake - although who couldn't tell from one look.

Grizzly bear testicle soup is off the menu!

          • -2

@G-rig: Is it really admitting it once everyone else knows though? It's like Lance Armstrong denying he was on PEDs up until the last second with all the evidence in his face. I doubt he'd have ever admitted it unless the proof came out

His eyes to the camera were on point for sympathy though Oscar nomination time?

            • @buckster: dunno mate but everyone would have assumed anyway and he admitted it on various debates etc (vegan gains etc).. It's pretty easy to tell who's natty or not.

At least he was honest in the end and did admit it, so many others aren't and try to con their customers - thinking they can get the same results as him when doing his plan naturally etc.

OP, can you post the correct link like Cheach did on this thread:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/752786
The AU link does not work.. it makes you choose your kindle from a dropdown menu then it goes nowhere and the transaction can't be completed. Go see how cheach posted the correct link
