  • Does the full HD model gets the discounts with the coupon?
Do you provide Australian Tax invoice?
Is GST refundable if you are going overseas?

    • Yes we are GST registered, and yes GST is refundable if going overseas.

I am very sorry but the model for $1999 with Full HD doesnt get the discount :(

  • Besides may be a better graphics card, what else are better than the Toshiba P870 selling for $1495 last week?

    • +1

if you are a gamer. You will definitely go for this laptop. There is a huge different between this one and Toshiba that you mention in terms of graphic. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-C…

If you are the true gamer and only play at home, this deal can be ignored

      • Yes that graphics are out of this world :)

Asus are a very reliable unit. We sell around 100 to 150 units, to get one faulty. Last one
returned was a faulty HDD , and was a seagate HDD too

Good price. Personally tho, 1600 x 900 res is a deal breaker.

    • You can always replace the screen with a 1920 by 1080 screen yourself… of course it'll probably be $100 or more… of course since it's a 660m you can run games at higher settings because you're running at lower resolution.

    17.3" and 1600 x 900.. arh, no thanks.

    • if you can afford spend $1999 and get the full HD :)

    • Yup Clevo's are favourited by Whirlpool members for good reason.

The Dell Alienware and Asus G Series laptops are more expensive for a reason, higher quality hardware.

Motherboards are more robust and better quality.

I guess its like buying a Porsche or HSV … both fast , but better quality engineering and design in the porsche

        lol no.

Dell and Asus are more like designer brands than quality cars. Overcharge you for something of the same quality you can get cheaper elsewhere. It's all about the looks and exterior design.

  • if only the clevos er110 is on offer =(

    $1600 deal for a HD+ screen? lolnothanks.

    • well you can pay $1999 for the Full HD

you are paying for the graphics … its the cheapest around for an Asus high end gaming machine.

Check on staticice.com.au if you dont believe me

  • This is a pretty nice deal, although a lot of other sellers are selling the G55 with a 128gig SSD in it for the same price.

No HD screen and no SSD is a bit of a deal breaker for me, but still a good deal!
