Hardly a deal at all. Most major Australian music retailers have been selling these for $225 for months.

  • PSA, these are regularly around the $175 mark at retailers such as JB Hi-Fi

Not only is this not cheap, but it appears to also be from a foreign seller i.e. no local Australian Warranty.

    Few red flags

We may require you to return the defective unitl to Voonaudio in exchange for a replacement. Please be aware that Voonaudio will not be covering the shipping cost. We will only cover the repair/replacement cost.

Dodgy authorisation certificate blurring some details. https://imgur.com/a/78HTuaT

    Premium audio-grade components

Why would audio device not have audio grade components?

    Crystal-clear communication

    There's no mic

    Wireless, with legendary M50x sound

    Isn't this wired?

    Low latency mode

    Isn't this wired???

  • Extremely overpriced.

  • Even without considering the price for this 'deal' the headphones are absolute dog shit and would highly recommend anyone stay away if considering.

Recently bought HD560s' and they are better in every way.

    • Ah yes, comparing open backs to closed backs. Very useful.

      • Has nothing to do with that really.

In the 3 years of owning my M50x's i've had:

All the fake leather wear away leaving a greasy black mess wherever I would go
2x of the cables completely snap in half leaving me with the shortest cable (extrememely limited mobility)
Both earcup clips snapping off causing me to ziptie them both in place or else they wouldn't sit on my head (this is the biggest problem that plagues these headphones)
Extreme discomfort while wearing with glasses (this is another issue that effects everyone)

So yeah, not a fun time.

        • Oh yeah, for sure, I agree with all that.

Anyone looking for an M50x replacement would be well served by the (Australian made) Rode NTH-100.

I love my HD560s, but the’re a very different use case than my closed backs!
