Amazon have dropped the price to match Gorilla Gaming's preorder price+postage.
JB still have it for $99 so it's a great price for a preorder if you can accept the likely postage delay you now unfortunately get with Amazon.
Demo is also available if you want to check it out first.

Yep not gonna lie the demo was a huge turn off
Cancelled my PO after playing the demo. Will buy it when it go dirt cheap.
Me too. Was one of my most hyped games based of the ps5 tech demo. And that demo just made me so disappointed. Even if its free on psplus, i probably wouldn't play it
Don’t trust media reviews. They get paid for that. User reviews are far more relatable to gamers.
It depends though.
Some games get review bombed pretty unfairly like The Last Of Us 2 which was a cutting edge and fantastic game. That’s my point. For TLoU2, gamers like it like it a lot, or hate it and hate it a lot. I hate it but I also understand why people like it.
https://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/the-last-of-us…@AussieGargain: I do prefer trusting independent YouTube reviewers, it's good to take in account of all factors.
Thankfully our refund laws are great and the 2 hour steam refund system is pretty generous too.
Lots of user reviews are shills or fake review bombing too. Never trust anything unilaterally, read a spectrum of sources and form your own rounded opinion.
Personally not interested in people's views on a game's story, gameplay or features, that's subjective and may not apply to my perspective. Mostly only focused on performance and critical launch issues so Digital Foundry is my main go-to.
Agree review is an indicator and players should form their own opinion. I just trust more about gamer reviews than media. Examples such as BF4042. https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/battlefield-2042
Yeah I was hyped for this, love Square Enix games, but then played the demo.. Will be heavily reduced in 6 months so will wait for that.

January 12, 2023 at 4:44 pmThey also have the best price currently for Hogwarts & Dead Space
Dead Space? You mean the uneeded and so expensive remake? Wished developers would stop doing this pointless practice and instead develop brand spanking new games out of the series. This is nothing short of a cash grab really.
Now, if this is a free upgrade to owners of the original or at least for a nominal fee, then its ahould be fine then.
the original dead space was a ps3 game… how are they meant to provide a free ps5 upgrade to that?
We don't know how different it is from the original yet, whether it's a significant remake like Ratchet and Clank, or a more incremental one like Last of Us Part 1. Maybe wait until it comes out first.

January 12, 2023 at 4:44 pmWell it's actually been this price on Amazon since January 5. So Isabella is 7 days late to report this.
The demo was like an unreal engine tech demo or a chinese MMO. I would not buy this and save your money for Hogwarts Legacy coming out 2 weeks later.
Ehh Hogwarts Legacy gives me bad vibes too, the developer doesn't have a great track-record of games.
Yeah, most of their recent games are licensed Disney stuff with mixed reviews. For Hogwarts to be good would be a pretty major improvement/oddity for that company.
Been a couple of long, 40 minutes or so, real time gameplay showcases that have looked amazing.
Demo wasn't impressive. Full game may be better experience. Too many upcoming big games within next a few months.
Its Square Enix's AAA game & I bet it will drop price to $30 or cheaper too soon.
this game looks CRINGE
Good launch price but might NOT want to check out the demo. It really doesn't do the game any favours. Initial final game reviewer impressions seem far more favourable so don't ruin it for yourselves. Review embargo is 23rd Jan I believe so we'll know soon enough.
