Not sure about the price, but cool product!

  • wow

  • Thanks Jason, they are fantastic. I can almost guarantee that you wont find a better price in Australia.

    • Good price! May I ask the difference between the Eye-Fi Mobile X2 and the Eye-Fi Pro X2? I can't pick a difference from the descriptions, apart from a $20 difference.

  • I had an idea like this couple of years, but wired directly into the laptop or a portable HDD - (or wireless for v2)
great to see someone has implemented it… still so expensive though.

    Tempting ! Bit Pricy :-)

    Digital Camera $400
    Wireless Memory Card $75
Face of the wife, when she realizes photos are automatically uploaded to Laptop … priceless
    ….
Face of husband, that sees photos of wife, that should have NOT been uploaded …. even more priceless.

  • $5 discount. But then there's another $3.36 billed for "Fees" for the payment!
What a con. I can stomach a 1% surcharge for credit card sometimes, but this is 4% extra. Just to pay by credit card!

      Hi Nate

We dont get that fee, Paymate take that 3% as part of the payment gateway. Whatever the extra fee is, we dont get any of it.

I am sorry about this, however there is no other way around it at this stage Paypal is not an option for us as our business structure does not accomodate it

      • Hate to be pedantic, but it's near as dammit 4%. Not 3%. You add GSt onto the surcharge for gods sake. Find a new payment portal. Everyone else appears to be able to do it without a problem, and certainly aren't charging 4% extra. I'm sorry, but the discount is all but wiped by your payment system's charges. How about direct deposit for example?

Again, I dont mandate the fee, its not in my control, So if they charge GST, thats through them, it sucks, I agree with you entirely.

I have your abandoned order here, I can happily provide you DD details

  • If you would like a cheaper option, perhaps you would want to look at the Connect 4GB for $49.95

This is great for those covert shots of the securest top secret military installations. After the guard breaks your camera and your arm you'll be walking away laughing…

    ooh my arm
    staggers a few steps
    ahahahahha
    ooh my arm
    staggers a few steps
    ahahahahha
    gawddd noooo my arm

  • I'm seriously considering buying one of these to send video from my car black box to my network server whenever I park the car in the garage. Only problem is I just ordered a new black box a few weeks ago that only takes Micro-SDHC cards. Not sure now if I should buy one of these Eye-Fi cards and stick with the old SD-card camera, or use the new camera. Decisions, decisions.

  • Postage is $10 on top as well as the 3% surcharge.
