Price matching Coles by the looks of it.
    Grabbed 6 cheers

  • +1

Filtered water, whole almonds (min. 3.8%), mineral (calcium phosphate), emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), sea salt, natural flavour, vegetable gum (gellan)

    • -2

Lol hardly any almonds just full of junk

      • +1

That’s the case with most almond milks. I think the highest I’ve seen is 10%. This does state “min”. It’s not all junk. Ever drank coke or any other soft drink, or energy drink?

        • -6

thankfully I dont drink any of these junk drinks

      • Really? Seeing as calcium is the 2nd ingredient by content, that means the drink is close to 100% whole almonds if you exclude the water content.

At least it's not 5% sugar like the milk excreted from cow's nipples.

        • +1

its just so easy to make it at home. soak almonds overnight and grind them in the morning. no additives

          • @U30004: Does that taste good in coffee?

          • +1

@U30004: Yeah you’re right, I’ve done this too. Oat milk is also pretty simple to make. But it takes time and effort too.

            • @Corgsta: People just want convenience even it costs them their health

    • Yep. I tried almond milk once and I’m like, this is just water mixed with a teaspoon of flavourless white powder. Soy and oat are the superior fake milks.

    • Better off buying nutty Bruce

  • +4

Vitasoy Almond Milky is the best by a wide margin, tastes closer to real milk or something creamier at least, Amazon doesn't even carry it, cant go back to almond flavoured water.

    • +1

If you like the thicker creamier texture, I highly recommend the Uncle Toby's Oat Milks which are the thickest that I have found and taste really good. Also oats are a bit more environmentally friendly compared to almonds which is a plus.

      • Uncle Tony’s oat milk is fine but their Oat & Almond milk is the worst milk substitute I’ve ever tasted. Avoid.

  • Pureharvest Almond Milk is $1.55 at Woolworths atm: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/858008/pur…

    • I don't tend to get that brand in Soy milk, but interested to know what it's like
Their Oat Milk is also $1.40 at woolies may have to get some of each ;)

Personally I use soy/oat milk for coffee, almond for smoothies.

    • isn't that usually close to $4? good buy

  • +2

I think the Woolworths brand Almond Milk is probably the best one

    • +1

Agree. Woolies one also has Vanilla flavouring in it though to taste less awful.

    • It is good. The vanilla is a nice touch, maybe not ideal for everything though.

  • Why do vegetarians wake up so early?

    To milk the almonds… 🥛

    • u mean vegans

      • +1

Correct, the diary industry is the meat industry.

  • How much almond is in this? Is it the standard 4%?

  • +2

Also same price for the Oat milk which I prefer

  • hi do we know the expiry date?

    • 3023

      • +1

        1000 year shelf life, nice

  • Hi. Any of the barista versions? Thanks.

  • +1

I posted a new deal for the Vitasoy Unsweetened Long Life Oat Milk. It’s same price too - $1.80 for S&S and is a top rated milk alternative on previous coffee with milk forum votes. Not sure if it classifies as a dupe so posting this detail here too, so no one misses out on the oat milk at this price too :)

    • Worth a try, amazon too?
      cheers

  • Thanks OP. it is one of better ones 0.8 gm carbs 0.3gm sugar 215kj per serve. some other brands have started to load these with brown rice , rice syrup…..

  • You almond milk people haven't tried their oat milk yet have you?..
You will kick yourself thinking about all the money you wasted on drinking crappy almond milk.

    • Almost milk is low in carbs, Oat milk isn't

      • +1

        +1 get oat milk
        Better in coffee too
Carb up (stuff all difference in Small amounts)

      • +1

That’s why I use almond milk in sweet muesli or granola. Oat milk, even the unsweetened variety, is much sweeter than almond milk. It becomes too much for me with sweet muesli + sweet milk. Otherwise yeah oat milk is good.

      • I've switched to macadamia milk. Also low in carbs

        • Carbs are good, just try and stick to low fat

  • 3.8% almonds n they call this as Almond milk… looks like a good business idea to start

    • +1

      Still better than dairy pal
