  • Better than Nongshim?

    • I prefer thie over Nongshim, not sure if less MSG but overall taste less salty. The noodles are more al dente.

      • How do these compare to MiGoreng Indomie noodles? Thanks. https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/177972

        • +1

MI-goreng are the cheapest of the cheap, these noodle cakes look a lot bigger like the shin ramen ones.
Salt fat sugar combo is pretty addictive (not in a good way ha)

          • @G-rig: Thanks, I meant to ask the taste.

            • @[Deactivated]: Would be fairly different I imagine, just get and see

            • @[Deactivated]: one is fried (dry), the other is korean style soup noodle. apples and oranges.

Ok, clearly this wasn’t up to Ozbargain’s standards of humour. I have received your feedback. Next time I will include a knock knock joke.

    • very funny I like it. almost on the level of JV quality of joke. premium.

      • Ouch, you really know a joke isn't funny if it's worse than something JV spams

        • its a dark joke.

  • Sold out

    • how dare they

      • +1

        I love you Bianca

        • Love u bb

    • Not everywhere. Still avail in my local store

  • +5

Why are these nearly $11 to begin with?

    • +9

So they can sell them at half price, and ppl think it's cheap, I will buy it.

    • +1

I seem to recall these are 5.99 normal price at TongLi. So yes…cheaper…but original price is crazy unrealistic.

    • Yeah who the hell would pay full price for any of these. Expensive junk food. $1 a packet is the most they are worth. Better getting some real noodles and making something yourself. I'll probably still grab some shin ramen for $4.50 though, just don't drink all the broth ha.

  • +2

    Palm oil?

    • 8g saturated fat per serving is a lot and sodium through the roof. Tempting tho

  • +3

Finally half price. I’ve bought the budae flavour for several times. Really liked it.

  • +2

+1 for being vegetarian. at least from my quick scan of ingredients.

    • +2

      +10 for being vegan even.

      • +3

So are Shin ramen and $4.50 for a 5pk.
        Still not healthy though.

        • +1

          lol which sod negged.
I was agreeing that it's good they are vegetarian and shows that meat and dairy isn't needed in everything.
Of course it's still bad for you though, unlike WFPB foods.
People like to be told good things about their bad habits.

    Thanks!

  • The green one is good

  • is this the cheapest it has been? Thought I've seen $4.xx

Best instant noodles I have ever tasted.

  • +4

Just bought and tried the spicy ones, absolutely amazing instant noodles I had all the soup as well which is rare for me, lots of noodles, they are thicker noodles than the usual Aussie ones, for $1.30 a pack it’s a great deal

    • The spicy ones are just a tad too spicy for me, but the other two flavours are perfect. Great noodles.

      • The spicy flavour is basically the same as Shin ramen. It actually tastes better if you only use half or 2/3 of the season, less spicy so can taste the sweetness more.. also super high in sodium and msg so good not to drink the broth anyway.

  • ton of these at sydney town hall woolies downstairs

    • I go to townhall. Is it upstairs or downstairs?

  • I just bought the beef flavour ones and cooked one when I got home with a bunch of pakchoy and they're a bit chewy but good overall

    • +1

If anything like Shin ramen have to cook properly in saucepan, longer than the thin type.

  • I am korean but havent heard this company before but just around $1 per meal, what could possibly wrong? Even other ramen sells in asian grocery are more expensive than this ($6~)

    • please note this is a 4 pack hence it will be greater than the anticipated $1 per meal

    • +1

I tried them, they are very similar to Shin ramen so better off just getting that (and cheaper @ $4.50 for 5 at Woolworths at the moment).

  • Pocha ramyun tastes like a between Shin and Neoguri ramyun I think. Anyway better than Shin ramyun to me.

However, it's too expensive even half-priced…

    • Very close to Shin ramen imo, just get that when $4.50. just get the cheapest as it's junk food
Some Koreans I know have never heard of this brand.
