While this is a good price, the reviews on Targets website talking about ripping or breaking on first or second use are concerning: https://www.target.com.au/p/wahu-mega-slide/65346846

Whats the warranty on this and the warranty process? I'd hate to spend $40 on this for the kids to have a couple of goes then have to dump it because the warranty process is either costly or painful (or worse, both).

    • I saw these at local coles for same price so would be worth checking coles/Woolworths.. I didn’t buy it as I felt some other slides on Amazon were much better but were bit costly so waiting for price drop 🤞

    • Was totally going to buy until this comment

As per their refund policy: https://wahu.com.au/policies/refund-policy

Crown & Andrews Pty Ltd reserves the right to determine whether a product is faulty and conduct a production and quality check. If deemed faulty by a Crown & Andrews Pty Ltd Representative, a replacement item will be shipped where possible subject to stock availability or a credit note issued. A response for Faulty Claims will be received within 48 hours of the items arrival at the Crown & Andrews Pty Ltd Head Office.

        a) Crown & Andrews Pty Ltd will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery.

        b) Customers will be responsible for the return shipping and handling charge.

        c) For faulty or damaged goods, please include a copy of your postage receipt. If the product is deemed faulty after review we will then credit the cost of postage back to you.

        d) You need to send the original or a copy of receipt with your order.

        e) In the event that your product is lost in transit, Britz Marketing Australasia will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send all returns via Registered Post.

        f) We ask that you allow 7 business days from the day you return your package for your account to be credited.

Im betting that if they determine the product to be at fault (yes, in that unlikely event), they'll end up issuing a credit note so you're forced to buy from them again. Not worth it IMO.

        • Hard pass!

Or should I say easy pass?

        • Should be illegal via ACCC surely?

          • @superroach: If there's a major fault I don't think a credit note would fly, you're entitled to either a full refund or a replacement. There terms do not invalidate consumer guarentee

  • I have this slide. Purchased at the start of summer for 6 year Olds. We have been using it each weekend the quality is not amazing but it's ok. At this price it's worth it but I don't expect it to last more than 2 summers of use and need to roll it up after each day so it does not kill the grass.
